Yes I am going against them as well. I have already reported them to the BBB, the FTC, the NE attorney general of the justice dept, the CA attorney general on the justice dept, as well as my local attorney genereal, i've also reported them to the FDIC.

I contact Jarred Craft (which is an attorney in the class action lawsuit) as well as Jacoby & Maeyers. (the other attorney in the calss action suit)

Wasn't the money given to her to get a boob job? If I had donated money for a boob job, I would expect the money to be used for a boob job. If it wasn't I would feel cheated regardless of "worthy" the cause is.

My account is frozen at the moment because I accidently logged in using a proxy when I wasn't paying attention. Now I've got to jump through about 50 of their hoops to get access to my cash.

I usually dump everything into the bank every few days. It looks like they waited for me to get a big chunk in there before locking me out.

I didnt know this until today but you can send and receive money online through the united states postal service.

I went to their site and its real easy to use.

Its amazing to me how paypal has screwed over so many people and lost so much money, yet they keep doing the same thing.

They have been sued several tiems and lost,but theya re still around. How is this possible?

yes i am for real. Yes that is my paypal account, but they claim that I was using paypal on my website which I never did.

Eeven if I was it wouldnt matter. There is something called a grandfather claus. When I signed up with paypal, they allowed adult transactions. When they decided to stop, they sent out a mass email. They never had us sign a new "terms of service" agreement. Which means I can still legally accept adult sales.

Whe I was on the phone with the FTC, they told me to file a suit because they are in breech of contract. I do fall under the grandfather claus, and so do most of you.

paypal sucks we were selling nike shoes and team jerseys and just let the money sit in paypal well/ over 6 month we had a little over $11,500 in are paypal account. they froze are account we could not sell on ebay. 4 months later and $2500 in lawyers fees we got are money released to us. So fuck paypay and yes we filed also!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is exactly what I am talking about. They seem to frreze account for no reason. I knew they did this before but I was unaware until today, just how often they did it.

No way...there are other alternatives. A lot of them actually. People just dont wanna give them a try because they are afraid of new experiences, yet they stay with paypal who is known to treat their users like shit.

Paypal started as a reputable company and then it went downhill.

Did you know that they not only earn interest off your balance, but when they freeze your account they earn interest on it as well? You cant have your money but they can still make a profit.

They also usually never pay anyone once they freeze there account. There is a small percentage of people who have received their money but not many.

They take your money and pocket it as if it were theirs.

I have not heard of this yet... what's up with PayPal?

I never leave a balance... I have ALL daily transactions deposited into my bank account.

I have not had too much trouble with PayPal, I had trouble with lying, cheating customers taking advantage of the PayPal policy, but it was my fault for not covering my ass so I cannot blame them for that.

I have been with them since hte early days.... still somewhat happy, not unhappy enough to change to anyone else... not yet anyway. :)

Could this be a possible discrimination suit? Heather isn't using Paypal on her site. She is a Paypal user who got her account terminated because her email address was on an adult domain. She's not the only person this has happened to. This seems to be what they've done, and that's a lot different from "We will no longer process for the adult industry." They are saying if you are in the adult industry we don't want you using our system.

Just a thought.

In their original terms they stated they could change the terms at any time. You can't put their business at risk because VISA does not allow them to just process for adult because they feel like it. Rules change, deal with it.

Edit: And yes, tell new adult webmasters they should be recieving money from anything to do with the post office. When they are in jail with federal charges for using it for porn they can thank you.

Thats wha I am thinking as well. I tried explaining to them that my website has nothing to do with them but they dont wanna hear it. They wont even reply to my emails.

I tried calling them and got the run around. They said that they cannot get into my account because they are mearly representatives. They have no authority yet they wouldnt connect me with the right departmemt because "they dont accept phone calls".

Just an FYI but paypal type businesses are pretty much unregulated still. You'll spend more time and money trying to get your cash back than you have in there.
