$350K+ for wrecked Ferrari Enzo

then repair yourself if your offer is accepted.

hmm...

brand0n 02-14-2004 10:23 PM

someone cryed the day that happened.

Odin 02-14-2004 10:23 PM

I could do 90% of the repairs myself I would imagine (although parts would no doubt cost $$). Too bad I don't have 350k to spend on a car, or else that would be one hell of a ride.

Oracle Porn 02-14-2004 10:24 PM

damn that must be a bitch!

hyper 02-14-2004 10:24 PM

the insurance company didnt want to pay
to have it fixed for some reason.

that would keep me from buying something like that

yeah the insurance company, paying out 1.3 million.

BradShaw 02-14-2004 10:27 PM

Would never buy it, who wants to buy a ferrari with a salvaged title, when for 33% more they can get a good one, never wrecked.

Evil1 02-14-2004 10:28 PM

353 miles on it. i'd be fucking suicidal!

quiet 02-14-2004 10:28 PM

Brad, the enzo is not eazy to purchase. almost impossible infact.

Furious_Male 02-14-2004 10:29 PM

The airbags and components would cost a fortune alone to repair. Trying to get the remaining parts to put it back together would be very difficult and time consuming.

Like hyper said. There is a reason the insurance company didnt bother.

beemk 02-14-2004 10:29 PM

how much would something like that cost to fix?

I have seen them on ebay before. $1.1-3ish.

I agree, getting those replacement parts would be impossible ig you wanted to get them from ferrari. The car is totally hand made.

Maximillion 02-14-2004 10:30 PM

Poor bastard.

It's one thing writing off your parents car or something but an Enzo - fuck!

only 650k? why do so many people want this one with a salvaged title so bad? i wouldnt buy a car with a salvaged title, especially a car like that.

quiet 02-14-2004 10:31 PM

they only built a couple of hundred, and to even be considered for one, you already had to own a Ferrari.

really? i've been watching on and off, never did see one though.

twistyneck 02-14-2004 10:32 PM

Beautiful cars, such a shame to see one wrecked like this.

Its not like a regular car a dealer will keep on a lot... You'd NEVER find one for MSRP.

they were all sold, over a year before the first one was ever shipped. they will not build any more, either.

It wasn't the owner - not for very long anyway :)

Yes, there are a few that were sold on ebay a few months ago, when they first came out. I think you can get one for about a million cash if you look around.

Buying any Ferrari for MSRP is tough, unless you are a previous owner. I am already on the list for the new style 360 set to come out in 2 years.

goBigtime 02-14-2004 10:37 PM

I wonder if you could hack a Enzo engine into something like a VW bettle.

That would be some funny shit.

- Jesus Christ - 02-14-2004 10:38 PM

Personally I would not want one... but I would want the pussy that comes along with owning one.

I dont know shit about expensive cars, but I know your guarenteed not to be ignored driving an enzo.

heh this site rocks.

New they list for $643k, so it's a sizeable savings. But I hear ya, you're not going to get that fixed at the local Midas shop.

I don't get why the insurance company paid out $1.3 million...unless maybe this jackass rear-ended another enzo! I'd think that would make international news though, as a crime against humanity.

That's sort of funny.... if in 2 years from now you were completely broke, you could broker a deal for the 360 you're in line for and probably walk away with big money in the pocket :)

SleazyDream 02-14-2004 10:43 PM

interesting....

I doubt I would ever buy another high end car. Been there, done that. But if I can make an easy $50k flipping it, great.

When you wait in line and your ferrari is ready. Right after you make the purchase the dealership will offer you much more money then you JUST paid, just so they can sell it as "used".

JackRoyal 02-14-2004 10:52 PM

I think insurance paid out 1.3 million because that is what the owner paid for it. The value of cars isn't necessarily the list price, it's that scarcity thing you should have learned in high school economics. I wonder how cheap you could fix that thing up for like with no airbags, tons of bondo and fiberglass. But for 350K I think I would not bother.

integrated 02-14-2004 10:53 PM

yeah im on that waiting list too

Vitasoy 02-14-2004 10:57 PM

poor car :(

JiveMovies 02-14-2004 10:59 PM

that ride is totally amazing, tommy hilfiger bought one. i would love to see that crash, shit would be nuts.

Whats the deal with Camerons pink rover has it been sold?

pornkitten 02-15-2004 12:18 AM
