I was there in Vegas about 1-2 months ago and the tickets were way lower..

the rates always go straight through the roof for January... high volume travel time leaving here because the island is full for the holidays and everyone needs to go home, plus the airlines cut back so their crews can take some holiday time.

last year I got lucky at the last minute... found a jam packed United flight at 4 in the morning and snatched it up without thinking twice before it was too late... so I guess I just keep checking and hope to get lucky.... otherwise, yeah, I'm fucked. There's no way in hell I'm shelling out $1600 for air to vegas. Should be about $400 normally.

I havent done those since it was ia2000. Was always kinda reserved since I always wanted to be on some TGP panel. Seems they leave it out all together or have someone up there that doest really run or have the know how of TGP scripts, trading, and the like.

But if I can wake up in time, I was thinking of seeing how these seminars are. HAvent been to one in nearly 3 years. Not sure if im missing anything.

Just go to the airport and get in the standby line.

It seems those work out quite often..
That way you also arent shelling out the large cash to book..

Id try the standby method. SHow up early and tell em you want standby. For one person, it should be pretty easy. Try all the airlines.

won't work in January bro.... that United flight last Jan was so overbooked they were kicking ticketed passengers off... the standbys that were there had been sitting in the airport for 3 days.
