Jay-Z Blew 50 cents new cd out !
I got both
The new 50 cent cd is just one word repeated over and over . I swear to god every song just repeats its self. Extremly annoying. Jay - Z Nothing much the best yet again. He always sends a message with his music. Good stuff :ak47: |
I should download that :1orglaugh
I was listening to some benzino diss from eminem... |
Jay-Z is the most boring dry plain vanilla brown paper bag cheese sandwich ricecake bland rapper in the history of rap.

Sure if you are just listening to the beat and not listening to the lyrics. Listen to what he says . Play for Example - Stunt 101 by 50 cent and then play Jay -Z what can i say ? Stunt 101 he repeats his god damn self every other fucking work its Stunt this stunt that its annoying. Now with Jay - Z's what can I say Its a fucking story like all his other songs. Its laid back. Its fucking chilled out. Now go back to your studio gangster lovin ass and watch some mtv and vote on trl =) 50 cent is a fucking fake. |
jay-z is the MAN

You guys must be insane, or the worst rap reviewers in the world. I have both of the albums, Jay-z's CD sounds like and rnb album the beats are horrifying..Jay-z has always been a lyrical mastermind. but no beats good lyrics just dont add up. I have jay-z remix to other beats where the songs are 10x better. On the other hand. If you understand what street rap is about g-unit album is a banger. beats by dre. + 50 + Lloyd Banks (Next Biggie). and Young buck who hads some southern hospitality, that albums is great.
Only my opinion, i could be wrong.. |

I made no comparisons. 50 is fairly boring as well. |

50 cent was created do you not understand? He was picked up and gave a hard knock life story. Have you watched his dvd? I know about street rap. I am HUGE into the underground rap in the seattle area. I promote a record label as well. check em out www.sportnlife.net I gave away a bunch of there cd's here on gfy and the other forums :) As i stated jay-z has a message behind his songs if you look paste the beats. |

what does seatle know about rap music, besides the fact that ive seen the dvd, i grew up in nyc, anything he talks about you can relate to. You dont have to be a drug slinging gangster to understand his rap. They tell good stories, you dont think biggie was created, Tupac was created, they always said similar shit. they sound good. there beats are good, and they can tell a story, just like any g-unit member. I am a big jay-z fan, but this album is upsetting for a last album. bring your whole game or dont come to play.
As i said. its my opinion.. i could be wrong :) |

and just because i live in the seattle area now doesnt mean anything. Just because seattle is on the westcoast it doesnt see crime ? it doesnt see drugs ? All citys have it's problems and when i was growing up i lived int he south... way south. Ive seen crazy shit as im sure you have what i said was my opinion and i argued it. |

lol, not saying 50 is a "good" rapper, but I think once you take more then 5 shots to the body nobody can really call you "fake" |
you should go listen to nirvana in my 'opinion' jay-z has fallen drastically and gunit is sick, thats that. have you listened to the lyrics. Say stuff over and over again? and jay-z doesnt.. common,
Im sure there are drugs in seatle and crime. most of the stories that are told in 50's music are based on real life, NYC real life, you read about it in the papers, the people who he talks about in his rhymes. and hi lyrics are insane. you have you opinion, i have mine. guess there isnt a conclusion. just trying to add my two sense. im wasnt expecting you to turn a gunit lover. |
50 is the shit!
I haven't heard his new CD yet, but he and his G Unit "family" are blazin' hot! Marshal and Dre as mentors and the marketing machine of Jimmy Iovine behind him took him to the masses. Dude might be "mainstream" now, but anyone that becomes popular BY DEFINITION IS MAINSTREAM! SO THE FUCK WHAT?!?!? His raps are sometimes simple, sometimes funny, sometimes serious, sometimes stupid, and SOME actually DO tell good stories!!! FACT: That muthafucka was creating a SERIOUS buzz for 2 fuckin' years on the streets of NYC ! His "white label" mixed tapes and the shit he freestyled over everyone elses beats are a testament to his ability! The song "Baby Get on Yo Knees" featuring 50, Young Buck, and Lloyd Banks laced over the Busta & Mariah beat from "Tell me What You Yant" is one of the funniest and slammin' trax of 2003, IMHO. Check out G-Unit Radio: Smokin' day2 from DJ Whoo Kid. It has the original remix of P.I.M.P with Snoop ... the totally dirty version. That shit came out in March, and I'm still bangin' it! Whatever! Just my :2 cents: BTW - Jay Z is a fuckin' Hall of Famer in the rap game ... hands down! |
rap wars volume 2..lets get it on!

As for Jay-z? He's dope man. Reasonable Doubt is a classic album. Blueprint? Near classic. The shit in between, eh, so so. I anticipate the black album. I've heard all the leaked tracks already - Public Anouncement/My Name is Hov is a crazy track. Too bad Just blaze (the producer) sampled the whole beat from Black Moon. |
