It takes alot of practice. I usually just fly over a base and bail out with my parachute. I'm not skilled enough to have a dogfight with anyone, but I am deadly with tanks.

Get a joystick. I can't fly worth a shit without one. I found a Microsoft Sidewinder for $30. It works great.

I have a gamepad, but where do you set that you want to use it when flying?

in the controls area, then u will see tab's for air/sea flying etc..

Are you all expert at DC?? I just installed it, never played and i'm not that good at BF1942 so I guess I won't be any better at DC... in other words,can I join even if I suck?? :Graucho
