Many of my problems this week have been due to excessive stress. I did some scanning for Pete.. He paid me up front for the number of slides he told me he had. Problem being, when they showed up, there were a LOT more than he told me there were, and there were also negatives in the mix (which are more time consuming and therefore take longer and cost more). I phoned him to ask if I should do them anyways, and invoice him for the difference. He said fine. So I did my work.

Jact and I worked for weeks scanning, editing and doing some color correcting on the slides (they were pretty bad for color for the most part). The NEGATIVES were even worse.. gouged, scratched, terrible..they took a week alone. That's ok though, we didn't charge for the color correcting/editing.. just per unit (and at a hefty discount) I sent it all back with the invoice (the final price was $1059.90). Heard nothing. Tried calling. Nothing. Tried emailing. Nothing. Tried icqing, nothing. A month goes by. Finally jact said something on another board about the situation, and Pete comes all freaking out on icq, saying he did NOT agree to pay more and that nobody could prove he did because the deal was made on the phone. Well whatever, I did the work, I see it sitting on Firm Content (which I know is owned by Nick, and I've tried to contact him too, please Nick if you see this, get in touch!), and it just seems terrible to me that I worked SO hard, gave the guy a GOOD price AND did more work than I charged for and STILL got fucked. Of course this was all before everyone else came "out". I just want this resolved. It's been stressing me out all week and I just need to get it off my chest. I am ill and have a baby to worry about, and hopefully someone else can learn from what I'm dealing with. I did not want to bring this to the boards, but on advisement of a good friend, I feel it's finally neccessary. Please, let's get this resolved!

The invoice was from June 26th so I don't think I'm being hasty. I gave lots of time.

On a serious note... anyone who won't make good on a verbal contract because it "can't be proven" is fucking slime.

SexTrafficPete/Klient is slime and a common criminal. He ripped off Fay Sharp for $1,500 - he was called out on it publically by Serge on Oprano when we realized the two were one in the same, of course he never answered Serge.

When is everyone going to wise up about this guy. Seems like he gets a new victim - every month or so.

He got people in various scams as Klient for thousands..... don't know how much he has scammed as SextrafficPete, but I hear of new ones all the time.

He has NO conscious - He considers them all nothing more than "a business deal gone bad"

Nick asked me to call him once about my 'dealings with Klient - I did, but then he never returned my call.

If everyone will notice, he used a sextraffic.com email address, so honestly, we figured he still worked for them and I hadn't heard anything bad about them. I guess they don't clean house very often.

What a shokers....

Unfortunately, they did pay a deposit up front that was actually 100% of the origionally agreed upon amount of work. They sent along nearly 1200 slides and nearly 900 shots on 35mm film on top of the agreed amount that we negotiated pricing for on the phone..

who's the though guy that was suppose to meet him in person and give it to him..? He was calling others pussies for doing nothing... THat was maybe a month ago...

It is a shame you can't do some sort of watermark on them that is removed after you are paid.

If this "Pete" guy is still using a sextraffic.com e-mail address something is not right. if I owned sextraffic I would be looking to fix this issue one way or another?
