I just carry a credit card now but I used to keep $5000 in my wallet at all times.

Always have at least $100 in your pocket at all times. It's a good rule to live by. Damn, but once upon a time $100 was a decent amount of cash (my dad tald me to do that in 73). I had best adjust for inflation! lol

My wallet always stays in my front pocket. Haven't lost one that way in 5 years.

I keep less than $200 and no more than one credit card. I've been robbed once so I don't intend on going through cancelling 5 credit cards and loosing several hundred bucks again.

?500-?1000, no credit cards at all - just two atm cards. I like cash. The old good cash. It smells good and I love to touch my notes... I love cash.

I carry usually about 5$ in loonies and twoonies, and maybe some bills if I'm lucky. Other than that, just my bank card, driver's license, gym card, and smallest limit credit card. The only things I use cash for are tipping at the bar and quickie runs for slurpies or Tim Horton's Iced Caps. :)

I rarely have cash in my wallet, I always just debit...
I'm not paranoid or anything, but more lazy, no one can reallly steal any money with my pic on my debit card and I hate driving to the ATM :)

same here, also cash seems to go quicker when i carry it, especially when going to bars and such.

My wallet is usually empty, save for interac and credit cards. I carry an emergency fund of cash in a moneybelt.
