Your screen resolution?
We could put a detection script in, but I'd rather ask.
It's for something new we're for webmasters. |

1152X864 Twice With DUal Head..
I really don't understand why people would use 1280x1024 This is a resolution that HAD to be put by mistake in the beginning... it's not the True Ratio of 4:3 ... so basically, all you guys see is distorted.... all other resolutions... 640X480, 800X600, 1152X864, 1600X1200 they're all 4:3 but that one hehe |

and i really think my monitor was optimized for this resolution.. for any other resolution i have to resize the screen but for 1280x1024 it fits perfectly by default |
it is...
try having any image in photoshop... if you don't keep the aspect ratio, it is distorted... pure aspect ratio on computers is 4:3... if you don't have 4:3, it is distorted ;) |
1152x864
|
then why do most people use 1280x1024 instead of 1280x960 ?
|
1024x768
|
damn dude... 1280x1024 really is distorted.. i drew a circle and measured it.. it's pressed into an elipse.. with 1280x960 it is a perfect circle..
hmm.. time to switch i guess, hehe |

1024x768 on this machine (my main one)
800x600 on the machine beside me 1600x1200 on my machine at work. |
Got 4 stations here,
1 set to 800x600 2 Set to 1024X768 My mongrel box, IE the dinosour 500Mhz at 640x480. Tis always good to see how things look in several resolutions:) Especially concerning testing:) But now how about Gamma settings? Peeps set to Adobe Gamma or no? If ya set to Adobe Gamma one might notice that things look very different on say a Sony monitor at manufacture default. What to do about discoloration... It can not be guranteed that what you see is what your users see:( |
1440 x 900 on the Mac
800 x 600 on the PC |

I don't know how accurate j a v a s c r i p t stats are for real, but I've noticed most surfers are still using 800x600. Not by much though.
