Why does the U.S. want to respond the N Korean hacking?
Sony is a Japanese company. Why is the US, the one to respond?
|
An american movie was befouled!
|
I think technically it is a Japanese movie.
|
oh, i suck at this
|
Maybe we will invade. Sort of Iraq 2.0. Attack a country for no real reason.

Because the US government has a long and storied history of being the "World's Policeman". They will get involved in things abroad while ignoring domestic issues. And they will ram their version of "democracy" down the throats of countries where "democracy" won't work. Kind of like your mother making you take terrible tasting cough syrup when you have a sprained ankle.
That's why. |

Oh, those people. Yeah, sorry about the bombing, we'll help you stop those hackers. After all, they are our perceived common enemy.

Amy Pascal...yep, sounds Japanese to me.
|
Because the hack involved businesses and people in the US. Not to mention that the part of Sony that was hacked is an American company based in the US.
|
Should just upload the movie to mega douchebags servers...maybe the n.koreans will take care of him.

The US acting as "World Police" is not a long history, matter of fact it is a very short one, for the vast majority of the life of this country we were staunch isolationists. That policy lasted up to WWII and even then many thought we should stay out of it. From there to now corporate influence has had far more to do with our role on the world stage than anything else. Kill all the fucking lobbyists would be a good start to fixing things in this country. |
U.s. acting very strong. China is the world power now.
|
companies are hacked all the time & govt does not care. in this case the hackers started threatening the safety of moviegoers & invoking 911.
where's dick cheney when you need him? :helpme |

Demonsation - Rhetoric - Public Support - Invasion
Since first two steps are already taken care of long ago, we're at the "Public Support" stage. We just need a lot more media attention and articles like this: BBC News - Sony hack: White House views attack as security issue NORTH KOREA IS A SERIOUS NATIONAL THREAT!!!! Then USA can go in and invade it without needing to worry about public opinion or polls. |

This would have to at least be Iraq 2.1 You suck at version control. :1orglaugh |

When determining the nationality of a company, don't we just go by the parent? |

And as if the bombing wasn't enough, how about the concentration camps built within the US to house US citizens who happened to be of Japanese descent. The Feds took away their homes, businesses, property and put them in fucking concentration camps (please, someone start the argument that they were "interment" camps and all done in the name of security). And many were US CITIZENS!!! And don't get me started on how Pearl Harbor was a defacto false flag operation. Roosevelt knew it was coming and let it happen. |
Hippies don't want war over oil, no way.. but mess with their 420 movies and everyone should stand their ground and fight! fucking embarrassing...

The US should just do the same to them. hack their shit and then threaten them with water balloons

So US Citizenship is valued situationally? The Bill of Rights means nothing? Throw the Constitution out when it doesn't mesh with your agenda? So you would have no problem rounding up second and third generation Arabs with US. Citizenship and put them in a concentration camp and take away their property, businesses, jobs, not to mention their rights as US citizens? For a POTENTIAL domestic threat. I bet you're one of the guys who gladly takes off their shoes and belts for the TSA because "it's for security" - it must be good for us. The leaders tell us so. You would make a shitty human being. |

US thrives on war, they're in too deep. They have to keep up their worldwide power and money grabbing operation, the point of no return has been passed a long time ago.
They probably don't even know how to mind their own business and not start wars. |

Nooo, of course not. Let slapass & co have their moment to shine. So far they're doing great. |
I say run the movie. Let these so-called hackers do whatever it is they think they can do to moviegoers. After a few dozen blownup theatres and thousands dead I'm sure the USA critics and haters in this thread will tone it down.
Why war even has to enter into the discussion is beyond me. Seriously, run the movie. I'd love to see what all the fuss is about. I honestly had no idea Seth Rogen's foolishness had such threatening political teeth. |
War = Profits
