google issues an explicit warning to tubes

From 2 days ago: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogsp...value.html?m=1

Looks like the last few whipsawing updates for tubes were not the last ones

lucas131 01-29-2014 12:09 PM

BING! Use Bing! :thumbsup

Ferus 01-29-2014 12:22 PM

Soon (I expect 4-5 year) Social media accounts and Filter-bubbles will make Google less valuable, and break the monopoly

_Richard_ 01-29-2014 12:24 PM

that's interesting

Matyko 01-29-2014 12:32 PM

I just commented, hope it will appear.. they say they might kill offtopic comments..
Comment the hell out of them because of the illegal tubes still appearing on google and still taking first pageS of most major keywords..

Struggle4Bucks 01-29-2014 12:37 PM

What a fucking idiots... they even call it a VIOLATION of quality guidelines hahaha

You know what a violation of guality guidelines is? Getting the same old same shitty websites on the first fucking page for every fucking searchterm you try...

It's all fucking: youtube, facebook, twitter and shit for everything... yeah retarded syfilis cocksuckers... we really know how to find those sites by now...

I hope that shithouse goes up in flames... I have a bouncerate <1%, multiple minutes per visitor, etc.... and 30 visitors per day is all that i get from that shithole.

And when i try to dmca my shit of their shitty google blogs... i get a fucking attitude...

These sites display content provided by an affiliate program?the same content that is available across hundreds or even thousands of other sites.
This is old news really. You need to add 35% to 55% original ''added value'' content to get over this.

That is not easy unfortunately.

lucas131 01-29-2014 12:40 PM

we are reselling the product, we have to use what we got from program. it is same with all other eshops and price comparing websites, many are filled just by feeds, i see that there is still more people out of their mind last days ... but google is out of order for months anyway ...

iSpyCams 01-29-2014 12:56 PM

Oh nooooo google, please don't take my 5 daily visitors to my hostedtubes!!!

rockeru 01-29-2014 12:58 PM

Google will only be happy when the adult industry is completely dead, not eating all their bandwidth for no $$$ to them

Zeiss 01-29-2014 12:59 PM

I got mail about it. Nothing fancy, really... And should be this way.

FlowerKid 01-29-2014 01:00 PM

The Google is an asshole for many years already.

oppoten 01-29-2014 01:04 PM

Makes you wonder why they penalized unique affilate blogs before getting round to cam white labels, hosted tubes, CJ sites etc. There's so many scraper sites in the search listings because the blogs and review sites all got fucked off.

I'd like to see a jihadi group target them, and I don't think it's out of the question :2 cents:

When did they penalize affiliate blogs? Blogs are doing just fine in Google

I notice that you've consistently said that in threads where many others have reported being penalized or had rankings reduced.

Maybe you have the secret :)

I sometimes laugh about Google and their duplicate content rules. I do some writing work for a client that requires me to do some research on various people. Often times I will do a search for this person and the top results all have the exact same text that has been cut and pasted into yet they still rank in the Top 10.

Yep "uh oh, looks like you totally ripped someone else off. - that's a 2% penalty right there"

Yeah man, it's terrible that ehow and similar sites rank so high.
They have no useful content.

I don't think it will as the big, "illegal" tubes are by now considered the "source" of most porn content.

For example on reddit if someone asks for the source of a pic or gif, they don't want a link to a short clip hosted on a small affiliate site, they want the link to the "original source" or full scene @ xvideos, xhamster or any of the other big tubes which sadly makes sense from a surfer pov.

Why would they want to be taken to a 3:00 min clip when they know the whole thing is available in any of the big tube sites.

Shit, if you do a search for most paysites the big tubes come out on top also. So according to google, the paysite is not the original source but the tube site is.

sad but true

Funny got to love google.

It liked tubes when they stole the content, now they have partner programs for content producers and they are going to penalise them for not adding value.

The question is will the content producer site get the penalised as well ?

most but not all?

TrafficTitan 01-29-2014 06:11 PM

Maybe they are referring to spider sites? Like sites that just link to videos on other tube sites?

Yes, I hope that is what they are reffering too. Those type of sites and sites that just scrape embed codes from redtube, xhamster and are filled weith plugrush, juicyads, exoad, eroad ads etc. (got nothing against those ad networks but there are lots of crappy, scraping sites with nothing but loads of ads to them).
