Moe's Lie Detector is a classic.

Homer falling to jump the gorge had me in fucking stitches, and still does. Whoever came up with that is an absolute genius.

Also Homer finding a new way to advertise the Bowling Alley in "And Maggie Makes Three". :1orglaugh

The early episodes are full of gems. Season 7 at a push, and season 8 is really really fucking pushing it.

I was just recently driving my car along one of the busiest routes in Japan, thinking about the bliss of "The Homer". I would've bought it... used, maybe. Fucking bliss. :2 cents:

Actually the funniest Simpsons stuff I have seen is during the queue at Simpsons: The Ride, at universal studios. Very well done and so is the actual ride itself.

i couldnt find a good video for it but the scene when they were having the neighborhood yard sale and then the gags went:

disco stud jacket -> disco stu -> doesn't advertise -> table five song -> disco stu dancing

so brilliant, thats when the writing for the simpsons was at its peak

season 7 episode 11 bart steals a video game nelson tells bart :1orglaugh ?Stealing is a victimless crime, like punching someone in the dark?

In one holloween episode they got in : "mmmmm sugarwalls" and spoke with pride that humans had invented the glory hole.
