Im not talking about the Alt Girls that are covered with high end ink. If that's their lifestyle choice then great. I do have respect for great art. I'm just getting so sick of all the new 18-21 year old hot girls that come to me for work and 9 out of 10 of them have some cheap disgusting tats... its like the fucking plague.

Well-done, carefully planned tattoos are gorgeous and really work, but poorly executed flash like astrological signs are just... No.

Even well done nice ink pretty much destroys my ability to book a new model.. I never really cared about tats but the clients I shoot for (in adult and mainstream) universally despise tats and they reject even really hot girls for ink... Its leprosy for new models that want to work, stop the madness.

More women are getting tattoos nowadays and it's just going to continue, industry just needs to accept it.

I find myself more and more going out of my way to book girls without ink. Yes it makes it much harder to find someone I want to book but I'm just not going to book girls with all kinds of tats unless as you said, it happens to be for an "alt" kind of shoot.

It can make it tricky. We focus on the "girl next door" type of appeal. So the girls we look for can't have all kinds of tats and piercings. This does not mean they can't have ANY. It just means it must be minimal.

Stomach or tongue piercing fine, the rest of the face? Sorry charlie. Tats on toes, ankles, back of neck, etc. where it is minimal and not easily visible, fine. Tats taking up a whole calf, forearm, side of neck, in between tits? No thanks. Same to be said for the pink, and purple hair. We'll pass.

I am not saying there are not some people who may be interested. I am not saying it could not sell. I am simply saying we look for a certain 'good girl' look in models.
