I think it could happen, but there's something weird about the twitch of the gun the millisecond before it goes off.

--and as someone who has fired his fair share of rifles and shotguns-- anyone that knows anything about guns will tell you they'd never look down the barrel of a misfired weapon. Shit, I wouldn't even look down the barrel of an empty weapon.

Also, I don't know about the possibility of a primer igniting seconds after being struck by a firing pin.

But I'm sure weirder things have happened than this.

I'm starting to think just the muzzle blast and sound at that close range would be enough to fuck your day up in way that wouldn't allow getting back to your feet like that.

Daily Mail does some excellent reporting there. First they screenshot the video, post the images. Then they explain what happens in those images, then they copy and paste some comments and the videos description. Then they post the link to the video.

Nowhere do they question the videos authenticity. Fine investigative journalism.

It's fake. His head would have been blown clear off from the air pressure / volume coming out of the gun.

If someone is shot from 10 feet away with a handgun, it will leave a tiny little bullet hole in their head with their head in tact. If someone is shot point blank with the same gun, the air pressure blows apart half of the head.

And that's the reply I've been looking for before posting it myself.
