Friend Finder FFN Stock @ $2.52 - all time low

Down 7.5% today while the rest of the market was up pretty good. I wonder what happened to cause the sharp drop. Penny stock, almost here!!!

should i continue to promote them or is it too risky?

Atticus 09-15-2011 03:32 PM

Guess investors weren't to impressed with their new Asian daily deals site purchase.

Over/Under 2 years before they have to start (forced to) selling off assets?

Yeah I saw that. wtf... Why would they buy a daily deal site in japan or china or where it was, that doesn't go along with what they focus on at all.

The tidal wave that is still looming that will wipe them out is the facebook lawsuit. I can't find anything about it being posted by wallstreet, so likely it wont be acknowledged till it is sorted out and they start the court proceedings or settle. Either way that will crush the stock when it breaks and if FFN throws their affiliates under the bus which I think they will, then they will likely lose a lot of sales and revenue.

if you have to ask that question now, then continue on, you will be fine! :thumbsup Marc Bell did great with ibill when he took it over, I am sure the prosperous penthouse crew will run AFF top notch!!!! LMAO.

ships sinking

SomeCreep 09-15-2011 04:28 PM

Even @ $2.52/share, FFN's market cap of $75M is still way too big. The way they bleed money, I think their market cap is more fairly valued around $30M, and even that may be to high. The stock should bottom out around $1/share (assuming they don't go bankrupt of course).

will76 09-15-2011 04:32 PM

Ok fess up, who here bought some of the stock???

You seem to have a bone to pick with AFF. Have they treated you unfairly as an affiliate?

Considering AFF is a piece of shit dirty company that used spyware to get traffic and also was one of the first and biggest companies to fund warez sites and illegal tube sites by buying ads from them PLUS the fact that the penthouse crew is the same fucking morons that were in charge of ibill when they ran it into the ground causing me to lose tens of thousands of dollars... what would make you think I don't like Friend Finder Network?

ps, i never promoted AFF ever. Thankfully. because a lot of their biggest affiliates are getting sued by facebook for promoting AFF's FaceBookofPorn site.

WarChild 09-16-2011 07:19 PM

What's a share in Will76 enterprises worth? I'm guessing substantially less on a much lower market cap.

You keep saying "i got filled" ..... thinking about the situation on hand and how I think you getting screwed i keep invisioning a creampie in your ass. You do know you going to get fucked hard when they go bankrupt and get delisted. Hope you joking about buying stock all this time.

boneprone 09-16-2011 10:50 PM

Well it looks like there will be an NBA lockout so I cant exactly bet/invest on my beloved Blazers anymore. So I went ahead and invested/bet on FFN at what I hope to be a low buyin. I think we will have some nice ups and downs and plenty of oppertunity to make some money with it.

Maybe someone else can confirm or deny but I heard they settled.

Some legal battles aren't worth the press, esp when you're public.

no they didn't settle. After facebook sued them they took the site down but they are still getting sued.

The thing is when you are a public company, everything is news. If they would have settled you would have heard about it because they are a public company. facebook is going to crush them one way or another. Facebook is also sueing their top 100 biggest affiliates who were also promoting the facebookofsex site. Shit still hasn't hit the fan yet.

They did just settle this lawsuit though...

SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- FriendFinder Networks Inc. ("FFN") (NasdaqGM: FFN) announced today that it has reached an agreement to settle its previously disclosed litigation with Broadstream Capital Partners, Inc. ("Broadstream"). The agreement governing the settlement provides that FFN is obligated to pay Broadstream a total of $15.0 million, in three installments of $8.0 million, $5.0 million and $2.0 million, which are due on July 13, 2011, September 29, 2011 and January 2, 2012, respectively.

As a result of the settlement, FFN is able to put the Broadstream matter to rest, eliminate the potential impact of this litigation on its business and more fully focus on business growth now that this matter is resolved.

"We are pleased to have settled this matter at the low end of our potential exposure. Now that we have removed the uncertain impact of this litigation we look forward to continuing with our plans for acquisitions and organic growth," stated Marc Bell, Chief Executive Officer of FFN.

I'll be below $2 for good sometime next week. I think Boneprone is more worried about the 60k he put into BAC at $7/share.

boneprone 09-22-2011 09:09 AM

All stocks taking a beating, today but not many have dropped over 80% in value over the last 6 months. And most stocks will go back up, except FFN :winkwink:

I think its a good time to buy, and BofA and Safeway are good buys at their current levels imo. However, I'm having a hard time believing you bought some FFN even though I know you have an allegiance to them.

no. you idiots can point to the stock market and say " but look all stocks are down" all you want. Fact of the matter is FFN went IPO about 6 months ago and is down 80%. While other stocks might be down for the year, not many have dropped 80% over the last few months. just face it FFN sucks :winkwink:

will76 09-22-2011 12:37 PM

Oh look a picture from wallstreet, a group of guys trading FFN stock.
