Darn! it looks like obama failed with his class warfare try

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010...come-tax-cuts/

looks like Americans aren't so self serving after all.

putting this nutbag president in his place finally.

as the intelligent know, less taxes and smaller government is good for everyone.

botfurom 11-11-2010 09:13 AM

So USA is not making any money now? Why need to increase the taxes in middle class?

A bit stupid being that we already know the tax cuts don't actually help....or even if they shut the Gov down - all spending stopped, all wars ended, everything right now... it would still take us 5 years to pay off things. But if it makes the Republicans stop bitching for 2 minutes, then who cares!

It's on other sources as well. It's going to get rolled back. Particularly since now the big donors don't know what path they want to take for 2012. They are going to have to keep a lot of different people semi-happy.

CaptainHowdy 11-11-2010 09:27 AM

You mean "class struggle"??

I tried, but the screaming cry babies in DC are threating to shut the Gov down if he doesn't keep it how it is. It's hard to yell louder than a bunch of screaming bitches.

this silly kettle has no self awareness. his incessant whining about his better's and how their money should be taken from them clouds any common sense he might have. :1orglaugh

i'm confused. that article is talking about extending tax cuts that bush put into place in 2001, with the expectation the rates would rise again. tax increases in a recession is bad business, so the debate is whether to leave the rates the same.. for the upper tax bracket

no?

The cuts were set to expire completely. It created a hubbub. Then it was negotiated to extend cuts to a lower bracket. It created another hubbub. Then raising the lower bracket was talked about. Now an overall extension is being talked about.

_Richard_ 11-11-2010 09:49 AM

No. The tax cuts that bush gave to all tax payers had a 10th expiration to appease the left at the time and avoid a big battle.
Obama, in a foolish attempt at class warfare, attempted to keep the tax cuts for everyone except those who pay the most in taxes. Foolishly thinking the rabble was now large enough to push his class warfare forward

I have a question.

How can one be pro american but so anti president? It is the american people that voted in the president is it not?

We all know that tax cuts "dont work"

or "you believe that tax cuts don't work"?

Why is it that you believe the government can build a better world with your money than Americans themselves?

I have a question.

How can a President be elected to represent ALL AMERICANS and spend the vast majority of his time attacking 1/2 of Americans and their politics rather than rallying people together and actually leading a nation as a whole?

BlackCrayon 11-11-2010 10:41 AM

tax cuts, tax increases. does it ever seem to change anything in the end? in the end it seems we always have to pay out more than we should and life doesn't improve, businesses do not relocate back the US..its going to take more than tax cuts and small government to dig out of the deep hole not only the US but the whole world is in.

its all the same to him. in his mind, anything he believes is a fact and anything anyone else proves with links is invisible to him.

I've never heard of a President of the USA talking and acting like he represents only 1/2 of the people. Particularly when his platform was based largely on abolishing partisan politics and being all about unity.

do things work backwards in canada?
here in america, we generally try to put ourselves in the best light. not the other way around.

Fillibusters are great. The less they can agree, the less they can pass stupid laws. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Pro American is an idea not a person. For me it is the vision of the founding fathers of the country. When a president goes against that vision, I will have issue with them.

What politicians say they will do and what they actually do are rarely the same. Also, majority rule (democracy) does not insure individual rights or liberty. Sometimes the majority will even vote to violate the rights a small select group because it is of benefit to them and they believe their needs are more important than another's.

wow. read a book kid. you're not even bright enough to let an imagined win go while you're imaginarily ahead.

here in america, there's debate on a bill. if you have enough votes, you vote for cloture. if it passed, debate is over and a vote is taken. if not, you open it up for a possible filibuster.

you see son, you only imagined you were right.

now I've showed you once again why you're a job hopping bottom runger.
you're simply not as smart as you imagine yourself.

better?:1orglaugh

awww you hurt my feelings LOL

Good to see you continue to make yourself out the ubber fool day after day with the same old insults. It's quite obvious you are not very witty. It's also funny you think I'm trying to be noticed, like I give two fucks about that.

You're the one that makes mulitiple daily threads about your buddy Obama. Once again, for someone that claims to be so successful and a "better" you spend a load of time on message boards trying to make yourself feel and look important.
