Its reverse order by record, so the patriots would have to have 31 teams pass on him. That is possible though since his base salary is $6.4 million and the new team would be on the hook for about half of that for the balance of the year if claimed. So very possible nobody claims him and he signs anywhere he wants.

The problem with Moss is that he's too good for most of the teams that want him.
Favre is washed up, he took 27 million bucks and ran to the bank. Minnesota doesnt know what the hell it's doing now and I would be disgusted with it as well.
Moss needs to get to a team that has a really good quarterback but lacks receivers to throw to.
With someone like Moss it's imperative that you set him up with a damn good QB, otherwise its a huge waste of time.

I think the Vikings will still be on the hook for some % of the remaining season if he doesn't clear waivers. If he clears waivers he's a free agent and I don't think the Patriots will give him what he wants. That's why they traded him in the first place. I would be surprised if he clears waivers though.

He still has to serve 3 games on the roster exempt list. but maybe you are right and they will let Moss slide. The Rams need receivers too. There are plenty of teams out there that will take Moss before the Pats get a chance.

I say Pats don't want him back. With his attitude i can see him being a problem in the room. I understand he puts up numbers but new england can get to the superbowl without him.

He played good for the time he was in. If he was able to play the whole game he would of probably threw a game ending interception just like against the Jets.
