Hina Patel, who was a supply teacher at Birkdale High School, Southport, met the boys at her home where they had sex, North Sefton magistrates heard.

The 37-year-old has pleaded guilty to two charges of abusing her position of trust by sexual misconduct.


Patel, of Sandilands Grove, Hightown, was bailed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing next month.

She was suspended when the allegations emerged earlier this year.

Gary Loveridge, head of Birkdale High, said: "I am appalled she used her position in such a way.

"We are relieved we found out at such an early stage.

"But it just shows how you have to be very vigilant and your processes have to be robust."

How this goes is it is pointed out that teenage boys would want the sex. Well, does that make it right for an adult, much less an adult in an authority role to give it to them? A much younger child than 14 might get turned on by a situation but does that mean it is okay for an adult to have sex with them? If this was gay sex would there be the same reaction? After all, maybe some of the priests that had sex with younger teenagers picked victims they thought might get turned on by another male. You are so stupid it's unbelievable. 15 year olds are adolescents not children. Boys have pubic hair, girls have periods, tits and both CAN PRODUCE BABIES AND have hormones rushing around their bodies that can dominate them at times. If you haven't noticed under age girls are getting pregnant by underage boys all the time. I WAS HAVING SEX AT 14. In a time when attitudes towards sex was very different. Buying condoms in the mid 60s was a nightmare. You had to ask the barber in a waiting room full of men. Not easy when you weren't getting your hair cut.

A teacher has to have an iron will to resist these adolescents and there has to be procedures in place to assist them. Because in a lot of these cases I suspect the adolescent shares some of the blame. They could be the predators as much as the teacher. A predator teacher should be punished. A teacher who falls fail of 15 year olds should be helped.

Anyone who thinks todays 15 year olds are sexually innocent children is a moron. Could it be possible these 15 year old boys are thinking of this woman as a notch on their belt? Would a 15 year old girl of today think the same?

I know we would of it 1965. I think it would be even more so today.
