Lindsy Lohan heading to jail
Didn't see that coming.
Good. |
damn she shoudl have just did her time in the beggning
|
|
How much did she have in epass?
Sorry. Just a side effect of seeing 100 threads with one thing in common. On topic: Good! She really clearly and convincingly needs to be treated like anyone else every time she lapses. Overcrowding in jails probably contributes to more crime than if there was no jail at all. |
i can't wait for public flogging to make a comeback

Ridiculous.
"Crime" Our society is so goddamn socially conservative these days. Doing coke and paryting when you're a young rich girl should have never been a "crime" to begin with. One day people will look back in time at these days and wonder HOW we ever let the government imprison people and destroy their lives over doing recreational drugs. It disgusts me. If you disagree with people doing drugs (like my God-fearing grandma did...while she was taking enough prescription drugs to stone an elephant) then just don't do them. You know...like it's been for THOUSANDS of years. But to throw people like Lindsay Lohan in fucking jail and destroy her life for doing NOTHING wrong except getting high is goddamn lunacy in my humble opinion. Jails should be when a person actually does a CRIME. If you steal...jail. If you kill....jail. Rape...jail. All these drug laws amount to is FORCED funding of the multi-billion dollar prison industry. And folks...WE are the "product". |

its in jail until hearing at the end of october... this made me smile.... . |

sorry, but regardless of what your drug policy is, the fact of the matter is that they are illegal... i dont have an issue with the drug use, but i do have an issue with her reckless behavior that put other peoples lives at risk.. on top of that, i am sick of these spoiled brat celebs that think they can tell the courts to fuck off without any consequences... i think it sends a horrible message to kids.. . |

Almost all of them have never be arrested for using drugs. I can't think of one single person who's life was screwed up because they got busted for doing drugs. |

Cause I agree that was dumb. BUT, I see drunk fucks doing stupid shit all the time. In a perfect world, it would be like Mayberry RFD and Sheriff Andy Griffin would have threw her in a cell for the night with Otis and made her sleep it of with a stern lecture the next morning. You know, the way we used to do before imprisoning our citizens became so lucrative. As for "kids". First off...most of her "fans" are now adults 18 and up. But for the teenagers out there watching her, most of them are stoned out of their gourds anyway and party harder than she does. As for the goody two-shoe pussy ass nerd teens, they aren't gonna be "influenced" by her anyway. When I was a teenager Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Steven Tyler...and HUNDREDS of other rock stars were doing more and harder drugs in a week than Lindsay Lohan has done in her life. And yeah...they got caught...and NO, they didn't spend ANY time in jail. Their lawyers worked deals and they walked. And the second Keith Richards was out of the court room, he was shooting up in his limo and laughing his ass off. And you know what? Me and all my little long haired buddies all thought it was COOL AS HELL! And we all wanted to be like Keith Richards or Jimmy Page or Pete Townsend...but guess what: Somehow, none of us ever got hooked on heroin or had our blood changed in Mexico or fell asleep onstage in front of a hundred thousand fans. Kids have "worshipped" stars forever. And the most they do is exactly what we did. Lock our bedroom doors to keep our parents out, dress up, get in front of the mirror and pretend we are them. We don't do drugs or drink because Lindsay Lohan did. I didn't because Keith Richards did. I did my first drugs because my 13 year old best friend Jimmy bought a nickel bag of rag week pot. lol Our society is over reacting like a bunch of little old ladies. |
why is everyone hating on her?
get a life, dorks |

EVERY person's life is screwed up for getting busted with drugs. You're not thinking clearly. Let's say YOU bought an eight ball of coke (not saying you do drugs, God knows you're probably too good of a person for doing things EVIL like that) to go out on a Friday night and have a few drinks at the titty bar and score a hooker. In other words, you just want ONE crazy ass night out. People do that sometimes you know. You're having fun. You're gonna get laid. You're feeling good as the coke and liquor together mix good and give you a great head buzz. But you go to the restroom and do a quick bump and a cop is there undercover. He arrests you. Now an eight ball is a TINY little bag of coke. If you've never seen one...you can take your thumb and forefinger and make the "OK" sign and the bag would fit in there with room to spare. But guess what? YOU are going to jail for that powder made from a coca leaf. A fucking plant that has been processed to make a powder that gives you an adrenalin rush and makes you feel good. That is your "crime" And now? YOUR LIFE IS RUINED MY FRIEND. Especially if you have a "real" job. You just lost it. Now you have to hire an attorney with no job and no income coming in. And what if you are married and were out fucking around? Or if you have kids? You no longer have a job, you are losing your family, maybe your home. And if the court hits you with the max...you're gonna be in prison for a while Don't tell me it ain't destroying lives. In that scenario it destroyed your life, your wife's life, and your kids lives. All because you wanted to have some fun. Your only REAL crime would be acting foolishly and maybe childishly. But since when is that the fucking governments business? Just saying...it ain't right. I know I can't convince the ultra social conservative gang here at GFY, but I just am in shock that our society has been so conditioned to this by Nixon's "War On Drugs" that was supposed to last a few months and instead has went on for FORTY YEARS |
Hollywood life sucked all the "good girl" out of her.
She's fucked. OUCH! |
Chooooch!
|
That's a shame
|
Her contrition at her last trial was conscientious. She must really be a good actress!

I agree getting busted for anything creates hardship on your life. My point was that I know a lot of people who's lives were screwed up because of their drug use and they have NEVER been busted. So their downfall was because of the drugs. The drugs ruined their life. Wasn't going to jail for it because they never went. Getting busted ADDS to it but isn't required to ruin a drug addicts life. Another way to look at it is if drug use was made legal, there would still be PLENTY of people who's quality of life and those around them would be far less than it could have been. |

You don't need coke and hookers to have a good time. The laws are there for a reason. Now lets say that same guy does that, goes home and has a good time. He does it again next week and the next and soon he's doing it whenever he can. His life falls into shambles because he's spending all his money on the physically addictive cocaine. (Is this a long shot?) Now he has no money, so he decides to go rob someone to get it. All because some hippy dude wants to do coke with hookers and get a great head buzz when the coke and booze mix so good. Oh dude it's soo worth it isn't it. Things like cocaine have repercussions on society because they are addictive. They are illegal because they make people do things they otherwise wouldn't do. |
She is one of my favorite actresses.
|
I would be shocked if she is in jail until the end of october
|
Have some fun, girl...

Oh my.... :thumbsup |

It's none of your goddamn business how another person has fun. I think for instance that you're a dork for making that statement. A nerd. A pussy. You think I'm a "drug addict" and I don't need to do drugs to have "fun" And you're right about the "fun" part. I have fun going to disney land. I have fun playing fetch with my german shepard. I have fun driving my car with the top down. I have fun watching my favorite show on television or a good movie. I have fun doing stuff with my kids. I'm like most human beings...I enjoy LOTS of things. But I shouldn't have to answer to fuddy duddys who can't mind their own business. And the govt. shouldn't be telling me or you what we can or can't do to have a good time. Again...the govt. is making these "Laws" to create criminals to generate more income for the multi-billion dollar prison system. And it's completely un-American and anti-freedom. How much LESS freedom can you have than being imprisoned by the govt. for partying for God's sake? I don't give a fuck if all of you are boring fucks or not and no fun to party with ...it shouldn't give you the right to step into other folk's lives and have them thrown in jail because YOU don't like it. Being in porn (which obviously most of you aren't) I would think that the people on GFY would be the ones who would see that the most. Replace "cocaine" with "jerking off to porn" and your wimpy pussified arguments work EXACTLY the same. |

And the biggest "repercussion" that cocaine has had in our society is what has been done to people's lives by throwing them in jail and removing them from being productive citizens. It's NONE of your business if Lindsay Lohan gets high on coke at some upscale Hollywood nightclub. And it doesn't affect our "society" either. Keith Richards needs go come into this thread and bash every goddamn one of you with his guitar. Bunch of old pussies. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

Can you possibly be this narrow minded to be unable to see that drug abuse fucks of thousands of lives every day. I would say the thousands of babies born addicted, or the guy going to work that is killed by the crackhead, is a little more of a repercussion then Lindsey spending a month in Jail. And as far as Lindsey is concerned, she is not going to jail because she had some coke, she is in jail because she basically said fuck you to the court, which instead of sending her to jail told her to go get her shit cleaned up. |
lol... i love this girl!
|
Hope someday she'll deliver good news.

And I'm not "narrow minded"...you are. MILLIONS of people do recreational drugs with nothing bad happening. A tiny, tiny fraction of people are drug ADDICTS. They are born with a predisposition to addiction. It doesn't matter if it's drinking, smoking, recreational drugs, or prescription drugs...the small percentage of folks with that physiology are going to get addicted to something no matter what. I have a brother who is like that. But to punish the overwhelming majority of people who can and DO get high without being "addicts" or whatever worst case scenarios you can find is total BULLSHIT. FAR more people are addicted to alcohol and even worse PRESCRIPTION drugs than recreational drugs. And for the record...I have toured all over this country in my bands, lived in "coke central" Miami during the 1980's, and even toured Peru (best coke I've ever done) in 1984. Out of millions of people I partied with over the last 30 years all over this country, I never met even ONE person who was addicted to powder cocaine. Crack cocaine? Yep. Meth? Yep. Powder cocaine. Not one. Are there any? I've read that. But never saw it. Saw thousands and thousands of alcoholics. Many who COMPLETELY destroyed their lives. Do I think alcohol should be "illegal"? FUCK NO. It's none of my goddamn business if a person destroys themselves. Hell, we couldn't be winners in life if it weren't for losers. |
