I definetly agree with you on that but alot of people have ALOT of money in there just because they do alot of business. If I lose every cent ill still be able to make it but makes me sick to my stomach at the thought. I work HARD for my earnings.

Its the same old story, and we have seen this over and over the past few years.

Also frankly I do believe most programs rig the Nats and other programs in one way or another before they sent you the payments you will never get.

Well said Shap and happy b-day. It sucks to see so many people having money tied up in epassporte. I always pull my money out of epassporte as fast as it comes in. I was lucky to only have a very small amout in my account this time. I drive to the bank almost daily and pull all I can out and invest the cash the best way I know and save it.

Unfortunately, Im not surprised, it was just a matter of time. When they asked us 3 months ago to use like 3 different banks, we knew something was happening....

If you relied on epass, my advise is the same as Shap, run your life like you run your business - keep enough cash flow to handle small crises like this.

But i was thinking: What will happen to the big programs, now that probably 80% of the people will not be able to buy traffic, pay for hosting, and thus "promoting affiliates".

either way, i think epass will sort this thing out.

Just about every single foreign webmaster uses eppassporte and they are the majority of new affiliates.

This could be a bigger crissis then what took place with Ibill if it is doesn't resolve itself.

I feel lucky that this happened now and not 4-5 years ago... My first year in Costa Rica epass was my only source of income, I didn't even have a bank account.

"Saving for a rainy day" is always good advice, especially when self employed.

After talking to many affiliates it looks like they were using their epass as savings accounts.

epass has never been a bank, I can't understand why people would do that. I can understand it was good because of the ATM cards and the fact you didn't have to report income for most people but using it as a saving account ... that makes no sense.

Kind of hard to save when you are barely making enough to pay bills. If people would have saved years ago sure, but these days its very tough to save anything.

You know what- this is an EXCELLENT opportunity for some new players to enter the market.

Been talking with a few affiliates, going to do all checks for everyone this period. A few people have been bouncing around payoneer, but no one seems to have payoneer accounts yet.

After epass what do you guys think is the widest adopted payment solution? In dating haven't had a problem with paying affiliates with paypal but sometimes the account gets temp frozen due to moving large amounts to non US webmasters, so I don't feel it's reliable for the long term / can take the place of offering epass.

Thoughts?
