Can anyone help out a poor Kitty

At the beginning of last week, I found a cardboard pet carrier outside my apartment and it looked like something had tore its way out, as it turns out, I see this big Kitty outside my window meowing like crazy, so I opened my window and he starts to headbutt me through the screen, and doing the puddin on the window sill, heres my dilema, my 2 siamese and part siamese kitties would rip him to shreds if I brought him in, hes a neutered kitty and not suited for the outside, he has that inside coat that a comfy cozy house cat has. Heres his pic from the window of the door at the apartment.

Please if anyone can help this poor guy out he will love you forever. Ive tried to contact his owner she is no longer there, he has a tatoo in his ear so that was the easy part.

Hope you find a good home for it. Poor kitty :(

If you lived here, id pick it up.

Is it possible to ship cats, lol.
And if you can't find anything, I'm sure people at prohosters want to take care of that cat. They seem to be true animal lovers.

erika 01-07-2003 08:57 AM

Yes I can ship cats, Ive sent two kitties from edmonton to oklahoma city and one to california, these were my own kittens i sent, I sent one american airlines, that before they changed their policies and the other went out Air Canada
I have to have a certificate from the vet certifing his shots and a proper carrier for him to fly in, they actually take to flying really good.
Oh I also found out his name, its zeus

archer 01-07-2003 09:22 AM

ah.. he looks cute..... is he friendly?

u 've got to get him out of that edmonton winter!

JFPdude 01-07-2003 09:23 AM

Erika I would take him but I alrerady have one and thats one more than my lease allows.

LUCL0NELY 01-07-2003 09:23 AM

what a cute kitty. tha's y i love kittykat69

erika 01-07-2003 09:32 AM

Hes extremely friendly, he headbutts me through the window, jumps on my lap and love nips me when im feeding him, and he does the puddin all the time, I wish I could bring him in, but I have 3 that would gang up on him, Vancouver is such a warm place and its so close too, Maybe you could come to Edmonton and rescue this kitty from our cold, its unseasonably warm right now, but we still have february and march to get through and feb is usually a bitterly cold month
heres a side pic of him, he kept moving around so it was really hard to get the couple pics i did get of him, this was the first time he actually stayed out past sunrise in the last week, hes now gone to sleep in the wooden box i have outside my bedroom window, its got a big pillow and a blanket where his food and water is

He looks like he eats well

DarkJedi 01-07-2003 10:12 AM

haha he's cool

but i'm afraid Ukrainian customs wouldnt let him tru

cosis 01-07-2003 11:53 AM

I would take him but my cat doesn't like other cats

erika 01-07-2003 04:25 PM

He looks like hes eating well is because he was someones comfy cozy house cat that liked to eat, I feed him what I can spare, he even got turkey leftovers.

salsbury 01-07-2003 04:28 PM

forgive me for sounding ignorant, but i'm hoping doing "the puddin" is something other than him having the runs.

erika 01-07-2003 04:32 PM

Yeah its when they move their toes in and out of a crunch, some call it makin bread or makin rolls, others call it doin the puddin

salsbury 01-07-2003 04:35 PM

oh yea, kneading (like kneading dough) is how i've heard it. that is a very cute cat. good luck finding a home - shouldn't take too much effort.

lagwagon 01-07-2003 04:43 PM

if you want i can get my father over there and exterminate that cat for you :1orglaugh

pr0 01-07-2003 04:50 PM

the puddin :1orglaugh

Steve 01-07-2003 04:58 PM

You should find a pet adotion center nearby, so he can get out of the cold. Also cuts down the risk of animal control snagging him, and then he's up shit's creek without a paddle.

Lick-Clit 01-07-2003 05:05 PM

I hope kitty gets a home, too.

Pornwolf 01-07-2003 06:16 PM

I'm glad you guys told me what 'The puddin' was. I thought the cat was dropping a runny shit everywhere and Erika was into it.

You never know... scat sells so anything is possible.

On a bit of a tangent, I was listening to Tom Leykis on the radio last week, and he got onto the topic of whether certain nationalities continue their practice of having cats and dogs for lunch and dinner when they come here. There was this one Korean guy who spoke perfect English, so I think he was at least raised here. He said he likes the taste of dog and makes various dishes with dog meat. Tom asked him where he gets his meat and he said if he can't find a dog any other way, there's always the Humane Society. :feels-hot

Kanoealoha 01-07-2003 11:25 PM

Happy to hear that the kitty found a home!

What's wrong with eating dog and cat meat?
They are just animals, especially if they are going to be put to sleep anyway.

because eating companion animals is just disgusting, they are members of your family, I dont know about you but I sure wouldnt eat a member of my family.
