CCW Permit...
...I haz one! Finally showed up in my mailbox today.
Went to get it laminated at Mail Boxes Etc. The kid who did it asked, "Are you carrying now?" "Yep. Two, actually." "Cool!" Can't help but feel like everyone I meet today somehow knows, despite the concealment holsters. |
man now that is SCARY, a religuous nut job, stalker with a ccw... I've had a few friends tell me to stop commenting on your post because they think you will snap and kill me. you are so far fucking out there donny.. .you don't even know where the beach is anymore
|
dont need a ccw permit in Az
|
What are you able to carry two of without them being noticed? What reason did you give or do they not care up there?
|
What state has a paper CCW? Mine is basically a credit card without the credit. Even has a hologram looking seal on it.

oh get over yourself.
washington hands out CWPs like fucking candy, everyone i know has one. then the liberal cops in Seattle still try to harass you about brandishing, if its even remotely visible. buddy got harassed for carrying a shotgun in its box, to his car from the fun store on 1st ave.... so he asked the cop if he would prefer he carry it NOT in the box so everyone can see it. answer was no. what a crazy state washington is. |
I have had my CCW since 2006 and carry a Kal-Tec PF-9 Sub-Compact every where I go.

As for reasons, all that was needed was "to protect myself and my family". |

I have CCW but carry openly on my own property and place of business, although carrying concealed permits are not necessary to carry concealed on one's own property or place of business in my state. I do carry when I go to the 'hood, though. The best food is in the 'hood.

For those who shoot, what ammo do you use for defense? Here's what's in my guns:

Fuck your guns, son. :winkwink: |
XD9 Sub Compact with night sights for daily carry and when I feel like having 20 rounds in the gun, my XDM9 with night sights, trigger job and TLR3 weapon light.
Forget about what's in my houses. |

I've got a water pistol.
edit// AND a spud gun |
|
I have a gun in my house for intruders, I feel no need to carry one on the street. If I get in a fight, I either whip some ass or get mine whipped, no big deal. If I get robbed, they get my wallet.
What the hell are you people so scared of? |
Even my parents have a CCW

I was a Boyscout and they taught us to "be prepared." It's nice that you are willing to get your ass kicked but not willing to pull the trigger to stop some gun wielding nut who is shooting up a public place and killing random people. I don't carry a gun to avoid fist fights, I carry a gun to protect myself and others in the event of the kind of violent tragedies that have and will continue to happen. Not to discount your willingness to get your ass kicked but the way I see it, drawing my gun to end a violent situation actually makes me a target as I am now the biggest threat to the perpetrator. At that point I need to get an accurate shot off before the other guy does or I'm a dead man. I'm confident in my abilities with firearms and I'm willing to take on the risk and responsibility of owning and carrying one. Having a "gun in my house for intruders" is nifty and all but what are you gonna do when that gun is locked up in your 2nd story bedroom and the intruder kicks in your front door and beats the shit out of you and your fam with a baseball bat? You gonna abandon your family, try to make it upstairs, fumble with the lock, and then attempt to use the weapon? Come on man, be realistic. The average gun owner, who buys a gun for home protection, has no clue how to handle their weapon, especially in a confined space, under stress, and shooting at an approaching moving target. They are more of a danger to themselves, their families, and their neighbors (from stray bullets.) Most of these people buy the wrong guns and ammo for the job too. "I own a .44 mag with bla bal bla bullets" Outstanding! So when you miss your target...and you will...and that bullet goes through the wall, where do you think it will stop? The next piece of sheet rock? Maybe your neighbors kitchen? Or how about someplace in your kids bedroom? Taking a gun to a well lit shooting range and popping a few rounds at a stationary target does not prepare you for a home invasion that is likely to happen in significantly darker conditions and with no advanced preparation. However, if you have a CCW and the right training, you will likely have your gun on you when they come through the door. Sacred you say? Prepared and well trained says I. |
AaronM might not be scared but Donny sure sounds like a scared lill bitch, who else would brag about carrying 2 guns.
Oh and Donny is a very well trained person, bragging about packing LOLOLOL |

Aaron, how many times have you been out in public and a gunman has opened fire on a crowded populace? What are the odds of that happening? The general public is in much greater danger from a pack of paranoid Rambo-survivalist types running around in public with loaded firearms than they are from some 20,000,000 to 1 chance they'll run into psycho randomly spraying bullets in the mall. You think the risks of someone having a gun in their home are GREATER than Bubba tea-partier with a messiah-persecution complex carrying his 9 to the local Arby's?
Also, I'm ex-military. If I'm shooting at you from the distance of my bed to my bedroom door, I'm not going to miss. And if I do, I've got 15 more shots following hot behind the first one. You don't need to be super trained to hit someone from 20 feet away anyway. |

If you have to live anywhere that requires a gun just to get a pack of gum you know your country is fucked. |

Perhaps it's not "bragging". Perhaps it's prevention. There are lots of nuts in this world who do indeed scare me, and at least one of them in particular has posted in this thread. |

So you question how many times I've been around an unlikely situation by comparing it to another unlikely situation and calling it more dangerous? You're talking out your ass man. You can protect your bedroom. Congrats. I can protect my entire neighborhood and more if needed. Being ex-military has fuck all to do with this topic. I'd bet that I can out shoot you, and most any other GFYer, with pretty much any modern gun...And I have no military background. And I'm not talking out my ass. Enough GFYers have been to the range with me to vouch for this. Did I mention that I also build my own gas guns, bolt guns, and 1911's as well as own 2 firearms related businesses? No, you don't need to be "super trained" to shoot somebody at 20 feet but most people can't consistently hit any vital areas at that distance on stationary targets while standing, let alone hitting moving targets while laying in bed in a dark room and half asleep. I'll bet all 16 round you keep in your mag are the same right? Unfortunately the military doesn't teach you any better. |

Where was I? Well, I wasn't at VA Tech....So now I'm an all talk idiot? What if I had been there and did not have a gun on me? That didn't seem to workout so well for all the others in that position. God forbid an armed person had been there and tried to stop the situation. "Straight up if you require anything other than your own two fists to defend your self you are not a man!" WTF kind of moronic statement is that? By your logic, you have no respect for military or Police then. Better to have you call me an armed "pussy" than a dead "man." Your words on this topic are useless. |

How is it going to get him in trouble? The only way by saying in public im carrying and then getting themself killed is obviously by the hands of others hearing this and reacting to it. They must be waiting for an excuse to kill donny? odd... How is talking about guns and being scared of people have anything to do with preaching the lord? I know youre just bashing Donny, but please stick to sensual statements.. Dont think I forgot the ever longing ecstasies of the french cock either... |
