Oil Spill in Gulf. Do you blame BUSH or OBAMA?

Just wondering:

Oil Spill in Gulf. Do you blame BUSH or OBAMA?

Sly 05-30-2010 02:18 PM

Blaming either is pretty retarded.

WarChild 05-30-2010 02:19 PM

Republicans blame Obama and Democrats blame Bush. What's funny is that in regards to 9/11 those same republicans were happy to blame Clinton while the Democrats firmly put the blame on Bush's shoulders. It's really just ridiculous finger pointing anyways.

IllTestYourGirls 05-30-2010 03:13 PM

Shit happens. No matter how much regulation the government puts on shit, things like this will happen.

Coup 05-30-2010 03:13 PM

I blame capitalisms refusal to seriously pursue alternatively energy sources, and instead chasing the easy profit

L-Pink 05-30-2010 03:16 PM

BP .... Safety technology has to keep pace with drilling technology or THEY/BP put everyone at risk. Fry those fuckers. They had no right to do that damage.

To expect the government to keep track of technology is ridiculus.
.

beerptrol 05-30-2010 03:17 PM

I blame all the politicians and those in the agencies suppose to police BP. Seems like every agency is controlled by the companies that they are suppose to regulate.

shit im guessing you drive an electric car and use solar power is it expensive :helpme and you recycle damn :1orglaugh

DigitalTheory 05-30-2010 03:23 PM

I blame both. When it all comes down to it they both have had the pull to put a stop to the whole "drill further out, no one wants to see an oil rig while spending a day at the beach" retards.

But when it all comes down to it, its BP. They chose to ignore the warning signs to begin with. But someone clearly needed to regulate on BP when they refused to adhere to warnings.

scarlettcontent 05-30-2010 03:39 PM

Illuminati all tarred with the same brush

digitaldivas 05-30-2010 03:44 PM

The Demon 05-30-2010 06:49 PM

Well shit, the Democrats are blaming Bush for Obama's epic failure so yea, lets go back another 20 years and blame Reagan! Let's definitely ignore Clinton because as a Democrat, he had nothing to do with anything bad.. Morons rofl

AdPatron 05-30-2010 06:51 PM

George Washington.

Overload 05-30-2010 06:52 PM

They could have fucked up in the North Sea, then would it have been the US's fault too?

Joshua G 05-30-2010 07:37 PM

The great irony is how "liberal" obama was about to expand deepwater drilling around US waters.

I guess God thought that was a bad idea.

KillerK 05-30-2010 07:40 PM

I blame neither for it happening.

I blame Obama for not fixing it faster

$5 submissions 05-30-2010 07:40 PM

Since we're talking about blame... what do you guys think about environmentalists' share in the blame (if any)?

Vendzilla 05-30-2010 07:58 PM

The saudi's bought a submarine and shot the rig with a torpedo to keep the US from further drilling

fatfoo 05-30-2010 08:14 PM

BP is blamed by Obama. I blame BP, also.

Dead 05-30-2010 08:15 PM

carelessness......and profit:2 cents:

Dead 05-30-2010 08:18 PM

look into the story deeper, find the money trail and what was done(or not implemented) to profit...then you will find the blame you are searching for. Knowing is half the battle....

mozadek 05-30-2010 08:21 PM

Neither, this is BP's fault.

Poindexterity 05-30-2010 08:34 PM

do you blame the dinner table or the chairs?

Stuff like this... happens all the time.

Presidents have to deal with it, and Obama is failing miserably.

good example obama wasn't there when drilling started

Spunky 05-30-2010 09:55 PM

Mankinds greed for oil and more profits for the greedy oil companies and that car makers have to make electric cars so damn expensive that the working man can't buy them

Relentless 05-30-2010 10:06 PM

I blame the Earth. Mother nature is really being a miserable bitch in this instance. Releasing all that oil... seriously doesn't the Earth no better than to mess up it's own ecosystem?! WTF

Brujah 05-30-2010 10:28 PM

Why is Bush being blamed? Obviously this is all Clinton's fault.

Rochard 05-30-2010 10:37 PM

Why blame either? Instead, let's blame the American public for being greedy and having a love affair with their cars. It doesn't matter who allowed who to do what in when. It if is not a ship off the coast of Alaska, it's a oil rig in the gulf, or a refinary in Newark. It's just a matter of time before this happened.

Its a considerable amount for sure, but it's still less than 50% what the oil is used for. You can't it all on our cars.

AlphaSky 05-31-2010 05:13 AM

My theory: This was planned from the start. This is the next "oil crises." Obama is already setting up the restrictions and new guidlines for oil drilling and in the process will be shutting down 95% of all off shore oil drilling until everything is in check. In the mean time, oil and gas prices will sky rocket like we've never seen before. Massive profits will be made by Big Brother and the powers that be. So they kill a few birds and ruin some coast lines in the process, who the fuck cares? It's all about making a buck.

Can't plug a hole? Give me a fucking break. We are all so stupid we actually believe them. We can build pyramids, rocket ships to the moon, do brain surgery, harness the atom...but oh no... there's a hole in the ground bleeding oil... oh my!!! what will we do??? We can't stop it....!! We don't know how?? It's too powerful.... ! My ass. Get ready for a massive hike in gas prices like you haven't seen in years.

oh, and "let's put a live camera on it so the public can see the leak, and pump the fear into them, to justify the closing of all off shore drilling...and watch, USA will be behind it. Keep the cameras rolling and keep the fear going strong....

Save this thread, and in 6 months.... when gas is $ 9.67 a gallon, you'll know why.

oh, and a note: I love Obama, I think he is great. This next "oil crisis" is great, because he comes out looking like a hero, shutting down the drilling plants at the same time getting what all the powers that be want. A massive profit in oil. Unlike Bush, Obama will look like he is fighting on "our side" while we are paying $ 9.67 a gallon at the pump. Total fucking genious at work. Much smarter than Bush.
