Question... are solo girl sites dead? Are they going the way of the doe-doe bird?? Is it even worth putting up a solo site these days??

If you do not provide some form of interaction with the model. I wouldn't be surprised if they are a dying out business model. Claudia-Marie, among others, where you can talk to the model will always survive.

While many will argue and some still do it right.... yes they are for the most part

i think solo babes can do nice for both part$$$ when they are active on sites.

Ok this is my take on the situation... might stir up some debate but...

I think there are two main factors that are resulting in the death of solo model sites...

1) Free Porn - Torrents, Newsgroups, 4chan, Rapidshare... If you're looking for a specific girl, someone's ripped the entire site already.

2) Review Sites - They show content counts (as they should)... solo model sites, for the amount they charge... not really a good buy for consumers.

You're only going to make sales now a days on users who absolutely have to see more of ONE girl and don't know about anything listed in 1)

The amount of content on these sites is low and I can only imagine that rebills are pretty low too...

IMO the super hot solo girls should be used more for promotion of a larger pay site. "Hey we've got this exclusive chick and you're not going to find her anywhere else PLUS we have a gagillion more photos and videos too"... SOLD!

Natalie's arsewithclass collection is still doing nicely. Were offering 6 sites in the collection with different niches. Maybe this is why? There is new content added regular plus the live camshows included in membership. I do not know about other solo sites but i'm interested in knowing how other solo sites are at the moment.

Our new site InsideReaganManx.com is doing very well. I agree though. The model must be involved in the site and attainable. All our models interact with the members, do cams, and have social profiles. If they don't, you better have something else to offer as well.

solo girl sites are not dead, just sites where there are a few galleries and lame video clips, where all the content you see for promo is 99% of what you find in the site, and the model is long gone so the program tries vainly to create the perception that she is still actively updating.

I love watching how so many jump on these "next big thing" bandwagons which fail before the next big thing comes along to distract them from ever actually having to figure out what makes a site successful or not in the first place.:winkwink:

the BIG problem with solo sites is that very soon you find the bulk of the content on forums.

And unless your a big fan, most people are happy with just a few nude pics.

The solo model site is alive and well, and continues to do good. And here's why.....

Someone, some where on the Internet is a guy for fell in love with a chick in high school that he always wanted to bone but never had the balls. Now, five, ten, fifteen years later he sees a picture of a girl who looks very similar and she's got a paysite. Now after all of this time he'll get to see what she looks like naked doing kinky things. He can look at a few pictures of her, close his eyes, and jerk off, imaging it was ten years ago and it was this was this girl he was in love with.

Or maybe he always just wanted a hot sexy brunette with huge boobs but never had the time when he was younger.

For me it's Sweet Krissy. She's got a face that reminds me of a chick I had dated when I was younger.

Solo girl sites if they are personality based still sell well. Working with amateur girls is the biggest pain in the ass though. Most get discouraged after a couple of months and have absolutely no business sense whatsoever. There are amateur girls that sell and those that don't, and believe me, you can't tell who's going to sell until you throw them out there. One thing about them, their content is exclusive for a while.

Solo girl sites are some of the only things that are still making sales. If someone likes a girl and she is active in her site they will sign up and rebill.

80% of anything usually sucks, but its the quality ones that put the time in that will always survive. People started thinking you can throw up any girl and make money. Its girls with personalities that make it.

If you have a nice model who is committed to the site and you're not an absolute moron, it's almost impossible to fail with a solo girl. Now, if all what you have is some pics and vids of some random girl, what difference does it makes to join any other site with heaps of content of random girls?

I think solo girl sites are like cam sites they will convert if consistent updates and interaction from the models which is the reason I generally pull solo girl sites once they stop updating and giving me promo tools. I'm signed up to quite a few programs in ccbill but don't use maybe 30-40% of them as they no longer update, a few of the programs I like with updates like clockwork...
