Eagles & Raiders in SUPER BOWL!!!
 

Hi All,
Just to fill the rest of the world in the Eagles will play
the Oakland Raiders in the Super Bowl and will win in
a very close game. No team in the Nfc can compete
with the Eagles at the Vet and they should win both
games by at least 2 touchdowns. Oakland's only
competition will be Tennesee and it won't be much.
It will actually be a repeat of the 1980 Super Bowl
but at this point the Eagles are a much deeper team.

BTW--McNabb will be playing!!!!!!!!!!

I agree that the Eagles will represent the NFC, but I think it's a toss up between Tenn. and Oakland for the AFC.

McNabb has been practicing for a week and he's now cutting and planting that foot. He'll be just fine in 2 weeks.

game will be at Oakland and therefore you have to favor

Yesterday Favre got pulled from the game with an entire quarter left to play....And it was cold....He got his ass handed to him 42-17.

I think he's the best QB there ever was. But on the road he has a .500 record. That's why that loss was so devastating for the Pack yesterday. At Lambeu Field you're nuts to bet against him. But on the road he's good, but not great.

yes raiders will be favored to win for sure, It will be a great game :) I think mcnabb and the titans defence will make the difference:thumbsup

i wouldn't say that no team can beat the eagles on their own turf. favre could do it on any given day. if brad johnson can get healthy, tampa could pull it out. 49ers get healthy, they could do it. giants are hot right now and could keep it going right to the super bowl.

Not this year. Eagles lost on saturday and the Eagles
are 12-0 afetr losses with Andy Reed as head coach.

Green Bay has no defense and Farve hasn't played this year
against any good defences except Tampa and he got smoked.
And the Eagles secondary is better than Tampa's

Tampa--NO SHOT. Eagles own TAMPA and have beaten them
2 straight years at the vet and they didn't score 10 points
between both games. We played them this year during the
year and beat them 21-3.

Giants--no shot of winning 2 more in a row to even get to Phila.

Atlanta---there back down to Earth now too.

giants are coming into the playoffs hot. saying they can't win 2 in a row is crap. baltimore won a super bowl from a wild card spot, so it can happen.

favre can beat any team anyday. he also plays great in cold weather.

tampa could snap that losing streak this year.

49ers, they've had major injuries all season. winborn is better than peterson and he's going to the pro bowl. bronson is huge in the secondary. if they get healthy, they could cause a problem.

You have to understand that we have the best coach in football.
He built us from a 3-13 team up. Every year we have gotten better. Last year we lost the nfc conference game by 5 points
and we had a lead at halftime and the ball within the last 2
minutes to win the game--but we lost. We learned how important
HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE is in the NFC. The team with NFC
home field advantage had made it the the super bowl in 10
of the last 12 years.

AND TAMPA COULD NEVER BEAT PHILA IN PHILA--just never.
The last 3 games total are like 100-10. WE own tampa.

NO. Guarantee of the Eagles being in the super bowl.
They will be playing Oakland. Slight possibility of

i was really hoping Packers would of won yesterday so they could of have gotten another shot at Tampa Bay

but don't forget the first game of the year Falcons should of won that game, its gonna be interesting though, with the fact that packers never lost a home playoff game and brett being awesome at under 30 degree weather

That said, you better hope you don't see the Giants again. They tore up Philly the other day. If not for three fumbles and two terrible holding calls it would not even have been close.

I think the Giants are one of the hottest teams going into the playoffs!! Just watch them put up 40 points on the Niners come Sunday. LOL....

and the 1st game won't be for 2 more weeks. If we
play Tampa that would be 9 weeks time of rest.

Your looking at January 19th and its a late
afternoon game. Tampa won its first cold game
yesterday against Chicago ( they suck) and it
was closer to 40. It should be about 10 degrees
here by then especially with those winds we get
in the stadium.
