spain, brasil, maybe some african team get close, one or 2 europe teams in semifinale if Argentina dont do anything, Asian teams hardly to see more than 1/4

Italy won the last world cup but will not have as good of a team as the last one.

Spain could be without Torres and Xavi due to injuries.

England always have too much pressure and are missing a lot of great players due to injury. Expect the Terry allegations to reappear to distract the team. If they lose everyone will blame Terry.

France is a risky bet too, even if Ribery and Benzema play they will be distracted by the prostitution allegations.

For some reason i'm not looking forward to this World Cup as i normally am. The group's don't excite me, and i think it will only get good once the later stages begin.

I hope to fuck they ban those fucking air-horns that the Africans seem to have and use for every minute of every game. If they don't, then i'm not even gonna watch. Yes they piss me off THAT much... :disgust

no fucking way brazil will take this time, there's some good players, but most of them leave the country, become better and better and play shit for their country.

Yeah, that sucks a lot, makes the games super annoying to watch. Luckily many fans will be from all over the world and hopefully won't be as stupid to use them.

Spain never won a fucking thing and this won't be the exception, I don't see France anywhere near the quarterfinals, no African team has ever reached the semifinals so it's a no no for them.

Brazil will obviously be amongst the final 4. Perhaps Italy and Argentina, maybe Germany.

Spain won the last Euro Championship, which is tougher than WC, because there are no weak teams. And their squad didn't change, it only got better.

I will be happy as long as the cheats Italy or France dont win. Infact i would be unhappy if one of the teams that constantly takes dives and rolls around like wounded little girls wins .. ie most of Europe.. but as long as the french or italian cheats dont win it will be ok :)

Am supporting New Zealand, Australia and England, but think only England of those 3 has a shot at the cup. Would be amazed if NZ can even win a game despite their easy group.

The US is a sleeper...I'd watch them.

I'm sorry to disagree but the Euro Championship isn't tougher than the WC. Are you telling me that Switzerland, Greece, Wales, Estonia, Letonia or Russia are tougher than Brazil, Argentina, Costa de Marfil, Nigeria or Mexico? There are no weak teams in the WC andrej.

Spain has a good team now, but they've always had good teams and they've never won a WC.

Wales, Estonia and Latvia don't attend EC. Latvia did once, I think, thats it. The weakest team at EC is a class above the weakest team on WC, where there are mostly max 2 strong teams in a group and then in the play-offs its not always about quality only.

But yes, even those average European teams are a similar class as Nigeria, Mexico or Cote d'ivoire. And Argentina with Maradona isn't a top squad either.

I dunno, you might be right but I still think that the WC is tougher than the EC. :)

I've booked my trip to the UK to coincide with the quarters, semis and final just in case England can do anything. Would be boring as hell watching the games in sunny Scottsdale, lets just hope they don't go out in the second round!

English team is as strong as it has ever been, almost to the point where you have to pass on great players and have too much choice. If there is ever a world cup England deserves its this one. Though just don't choke ;)
