Why does In-n-Out always take so fucking long?
 

They are the simplest place - burger and fries - no other weird shit. The burgers are also greasy so it's not like they take any care.

So why do they always take so fucking long in the drive thru?

They don't have heating lamps so they look everything to order. Plus they can only make so many fries at once so you're usually waiting on those.

haha I was just having this conversation a few days ago. Seems like there is always a long line and by the time you get the food it cold. Glad I stopped eating there a few years back.

Fries are always hard and greasy, burgers are always greasy and nasty. I can't fucking understand why anyone thinks they taste good??
No special gimmick like broiled burgers or anything either, it all tastes fried and greasy.

In and out is the only fast food I will eat. It is amazing because it is made fresh when you order it. I have never gotten any food cold there either. That would pretty much be impossible. The OP needs to stick to McDonalds crap.

Whataburger is better, but they dont have them in California.

Never understood, why people like those burgers, they taste like cardboard to me and the frys are even more bland. I like that everything is supposed to be fresh but if it has no flavor what's the point?

Give me a greasy Dick's Hamburger + frys any day.

The burgers are extremely greasy. I prefer making my own hamburgers - fast food is trash.

i don't care for in&out, one being the time it takes to get a burger- eesh. the other thing is their bun is too big in proportion to the patties. i won't do a 3x3, too tall, and a 2x2 still is not enough to offset the bun. their fries are really tasty but it's not hard to make tasty fries these days with premium potatoes, quality oil and changing the oil often.


which brings me back to the topic- there is no fucking reason for in&out to take so fucking long- their french fries get cooked just as fast as the next burger joint's and if they can't figure out the logistics of making french fries in a timely manner, i will glady take make burger dollars elsewhere. and there are TONS of awesome burger joints in and around la.

Don't eat fast food. It's the creation of the devil, designed to make everyone laugh at Americans (and Australians too, I guess) for being disgusting fat hambeasts. You go to Europe or Japan or something, and everyone, while maybe not being attractive, is at least skinny enough to fuck. You go to America (and again, Australia I guess) and everyone is a big ham, rotund and comical in appearance.

In 'n' Out is privately owned by a family. They're not expanding to the East Coast because they can't get the food there easily without freezing it and they only use fresh ingredients.

I LOVE the burgers but I have to admit on rare occasions I have zipped thru McD's for an order of fries to go with my double double.
