I've travelled throughout Asia, in the US, the UK, around Europe, and never felt threatened anywhere, ever. I'm 40 and have done a lot of fucked up things.

Ok so lets say all guns are banned in the USA. Most of the law abiding people will turn their guns in (theoretically). What do you think the criminals will do? You see they are criminals meaning THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW. Therefore the only people who will have guns are the criminals. Ok would you like me to expound or is this concept still too complicated?

That said, I am not a gun owner anymore but I support any sane, ethical, law abiding person to own a gun.

I had a psycho make plans to kill me with several people, he went to a street gang and tried to hire someone to do it, and told a cop he had made plans for it. - yes I have a police report where he admitted to making plans to kill me to a cop. Tried to get a protection order on him 3 times and once with peace bond. He broke into my business and stole over 10K once and then a few months later $30K in a B@E. he did everything he could with every gov't agency he could to destroy me. for some reason gov't agencies are sooo fucking stupid they take anonymous tips even if false....

i hear through people he's still got me on his mind.

So were you afraid to leave the house because of all the guns everywhere or the people that were outside? I bet it was the latter if you think about it. If you don't want to own a gun fine no one is forcing you too and it doesn't bother me. In a "perfect world" no one would break the law. I carry concealed and if I was robbed would still hand over my wallet without pulling my weapon but the minute I felt the bad guy was going to kill or hurt me I would protect myself. Owning a weapon is a responsibility just like owning a car you need to know how and when to use it, care for it, safely handle and store it. Just as you learned how to drive a car from your parents they should have taught responsible firearm ownership. Unfortunately this has been lost in our society.

And just in case I have plenty of ammo for the zombie apocalypse.

I got my first one at 10 from my grandpa and my mom was scared as hell, rightfully so. Shotguns + 10 years olds = scary business

Fact: Guns in the USA are used over 2,500,000 times a year in self protection. Most of the time a woman uses it against a male attacker to save her life or to save her from serious harm or rape.

Find a way to get all the criminals to turn theirs in and I'd hazard a guess that a lot of other gun owners would follow.

Probably better to concentrate on education. The way it is now, politicians can deny or simply not allocate more money to their own states schools. Keep the population fat toothless and retarded, and pass whatever crooked self-serving legislation they want to. it was put in place to protect us from the government, you know, the same government that will lock you up if you point a gun at a senator, or cop, or anytone else in the way of freedom. Youll get locked up for making gun hand gestre towards president or politician.

I believe America is on the verge of a full out revolt. If things get any worse, as in more useless wars, corporate fraud, joblessness etc etc people will start to take up arms.
