Tom_PM 10-15-2009 11:58 AM

Really crazy. There's no chance to do anything but hope it crashlands somewhat softly..

areagirls 10-15-2009 11:59 AM

Scary and tragic for the family, but so hard not to laugh when you read the headline.

Fat Panda 10-15-2009 12:00 PM

holy fuck, talk about one hell of a ride

TidalWave 10-15-2009 12:00 PM

What? Where? How?

Link?

Evil Chris 10-15-2009 12:01 PM

Scary.... my own son is 6. I can't imagine what his parents are going through.

Tanker 10-15-2009 12:03 PM

he will die for sure the freezing cold and lack of oxygen are going to get him

Owner 10-15-2009 12:03 PM

It looks just like those foil helium balloons you can buy at the store and those things can last a week and this is a thousand times the size.

Martin 10-15-2009 12:05 PM

Looks like fun.

kristin 10-15-2009 12:07 PM

Wow, smart family... seriously they made an aircraft of some sort, that's crazy!

Evil Chris 10-15-2009 12:10 PM

It's got to be chilly at 8,000 feet.

Agent 488 10-15-2009 12:11 PM

a bird just struck it.

Yeah, they have usually fathered 6 kids by now in your neck of the woods, right Tito?

Martin 10-15-2009 12:12 PM

Okay this is a little fucked up, but I think he'll be fine. They'll get him down some how.

DeadFidel 10-15-2009 12:13 PM

My god..they DON"T KNOW IF he is in there..omg

dyna mo 10-15-2009 12:14 PM

even if it descends on its own, it won't be a soft landing

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 10-15-2009 12:14 PM

It's been flying for over two hours now...and I see that it is spinning, and there does not appear to be any windows.

Poor kid is probably frightened to death.

Due to the relatively slow airspeed (15 knots), it is conceivable that the balloon could somehow be netted.

Bizarre and sad story...

BFT3K 10-15-2009 12:16 PM

If he lives, it will be a great adventure story!

If not, it will be really sad...

BFT3K 10-15-2009 12:18 PM

The kid's name is Falcon. That's pretty cool!

Evil Chris 10-15-2009 12:18 PM

it's losing a lot of helium now.... should be on the ground soon. 6500 feet or so.

troncarver 10-15-2009 12:18 PM

its losing helium fast

If it slowly loses air and isn't traveling very fast this just might turn out ok.

If so the little shit is in for some major corner time, like until he's 18.

.

DeadFidel 10-15-2009 12:23 PM

FUCKING NEWS knows the boy is not in there..yest they wont tell. Fuckers:(

Evil Chris 10-15-2009 12:23 PM

The question now becomes, will they show a 6 year old boy crashing to earth on live TV?

Martin 10-15-2009 12:25 PM

I hope that thing doesn't turn upside down. I didn't take it serious at first, but this doesn't look good now.

Why do you think that?

JenniDahling 10-15-2009 12:25 PM

It sucks that its deflating and losing velocity so quickly. That poor kid must be scared as shit! Hopefully it ends safely.

Agent 488 10-15-2009 12:30 PM

he's going to get quite the spanking when he lands.

Trixxxia 10-15-2009 12:31 PM

Agent 488 10-15-2009 12:32 PM
