@Minte, I like that you drive all wheel drive cars : )
@sharphead, see sig! haha
I ran a 12.9 quarter mile last time at the track @ 105mph. After the engine build and another turbo upgrade hope to be pushing 550awhp running high 10s
I went to trade the E55amg in this summer. Drove an Sclass and the new E550. Neither of them really impressed me. So I decided to keep it until the new Porsche Panamera is available here. The daily driver has to be fast!

They really did a great job with that car Jact.. It's a KEEPER!
I'm going to modify the hell out of it, but I want to keep the body as true as I can (Save for the Carbon Fibre hood and trunk that are going on in the spring). I don't care what anyone says, I have more fun driving this thing then I did Cambo's Ferrari and I turn a lot more heads.

I bet that would be brutally fast with a twin turbo setup.

Because of the weight of the car (3800 lbs curb weight!) and the somewhat restrictive torque (420 foot pounds sounds high, but in reality... It isn't enough to move this whale off the line), I've decided to boar the engine from a 370 to a 426, port and polished heads, new aggressive cams, ProCharger supercharger with 8-11 lbs of boost, nos cooled intercooler, NOS 100 shot, computer tune, new throttle body, and a few other gadgets.
The car runs a 13.2 quarter mile @105 MP/h stock, my goal is to get it down to a 10 second car.
I've seen a few twin turbo setups on Challengers, and they absolutely fly after the 300' mark, but they're still sluggish off the line. A friend of mine down in the states is running twin superchargers on his 440 Stroker and he's pulling mid 9's.

Straight Cut gear box with billet shift forks
Big brake kit
Lots of other mods. It's a fun car to drive
AWD is great! It makes a reasonably skilled driver, much faster. 12.9 is already really quick, but I do understand how addictive speed is.

Oh and I've already added the best aftermarket modification of all time to it!
No more door dings! Handycap spots here are like 1.5 regular spaces. They sure are taking their time sending me my perm. permit.
Aww fuck .. sorry these are so big .. too tired to down size them ..

The supercharger will work wonders. My E55 is over 4200lbs and it makes huge torque with the supercharger. The E55 is said to run in the low 11's with 0-60 of 4.2secs.
The big problem with that much torque is hooking up the tires. It will keep them spinning well into 3rd gear.

Yeah, I already have trouble hooking up as it is, but then again I'm running ZR1 tires on it. I'm going to get 12.1" wide drag radials next year which will help a LOT in the traction department.
The E55 is a badass car, I've seen a few done up very, very nicely.
I myself drive a 2001 Honda Civic. Jealous? I'll drive it until it falls apart or I buy a truck, whichever comes first. I don't have any pictures because there are 4,000,000 others just like it and who the fuck cares.
This one stays hidden away up in my dads garage (well building really holds 22 cars has about 17 in it currently). I visit it once a year anymore. lol Stays up in PA in climate controlled garage.
Ill have to get a list together of all my dads cars. Mostly classic Studebakers. This one is mine an its a 55 studebaker speedster president that I restored from the wheels up. Frame off restoration, frame and body both acid dipped. I did most everything except the interior was sent out, as was the engine, though I've rebuilt engines in the past as well. All body work and paint by me as well. Oh and the chorme was replaced or sent out to be redone. Anyways not sure when Ill actually bring it down to tn. My Dad and mom take the cars out to carshows all the time, and Im unlikely to do that, so my baby stays up in PA for now.
414 RWHP on the motor + 150hp worth of nitrous, built transmission, 18" wheels all the way around, fully loaded with leather and t-tops, worth about 7k but about the prettiest and fastest thing you can buy for that much money.
I paid 3x what it's worth for it 3 years ago though lol.
Works great for a daily driver that will blow the doors off any production car on the street if I need to and will put a hurting on quite a few street bikes as well.
