In my book it's called denial, not high self esteem.

High self esteem? By that do you mean acting arrogant or even narcissistic? Because that would be the complete opposite of having high self esteem. High self esteem is a positive mental attitude, acting arrogant because you're unhappy with your self image is a personality disorder.

Business wise.. I have huge self esteem. I work hard and am uber competitive... great problem solver.. love people...

but for me.. there's always that fear of being judged.. not so much that I think I'm less... but that I always feel like I have to over compensate to combat what people think of me...

and that's not high self esteem...

I'm a badass business person... I find myself quirky, cute, attractive... I'd fuck me..

but I know the social stigmas exist.. and that does make me recoil...

I don't think any person should be judged based on their weight though...

The only negatives to being fat are the potential health risks... people shouldn't let any other considerations into their mind... because they're just typical prejudices... fat people can still take care of themselves, dress nice, be articulate.... they're just going to live a harder old age, possibly die sooner.

I'm a happy little fat girl... but I'm getting bariatric surgery next week. After 2.5 years of working out at Crossfit gyms, with personal trainers, detox programs, nutrititionist, hormone therapy... despite being 250lbs and able to run 2 miles on the treadmill... my health even at 25.. was not where it should be..

so I'm selling out as a little fat girl..

But my opinion.. is MOST little fat girls fake the high self esteem to over compensate....

inside though... there are issues there.

I'm one of the most Type A, fun to be around, well dressed, flirty people you'll ever meet.. and even I had insecure moments... A LOT.

absolutely NOT! the reason they get mouthy alot more than normal chicks is because they have zero self esteem, its their defense mechanism. I also find it funny that alot of fat chicks say it's their choice to be fat.... they say that out loud, but they think the opposite. Nobody likes to be looking like a slob with a higher chance of a heart disease.... fat people look and are more unhealthy than normal sized people, and that's a fact.

when i was married (note: mistake #1) a decade ago i was with a chick that weighed close to 300lbs. none of this mattered to me at the time as i was sold on the personality traits you guys were just describing. i had this preconceived notion she was more stable and self confident than most of the model types i had been seeing. i was wrong. at least in this case it was a huge overcompensation act on her part for a woman that was in shambles. in my 30s now i'm very biased in that i dont get with anyone who doesnt workout and take care of their bod, as its a reflection on other issues. i blog about this shit all the time

I'm going with the Doctors Davis... the guys on the TLC show Big Medicine..
It's going to cost me a pretty penny.. as I'm self pay..

But I've been shelling out that same amount of cash on trainers, fitness programs, hormone therapy, and detox diets that I could never stick to..

Only thing I ever fell in love with was the working out... and fitness.. and with the surgery... as soon as I get to the 180ish range.. I'm going to start doing triathlons and other stuff...

really, really, really excited.. whole new life :) whole new stomach to help me stick to the eating habits :)

But I'll always be the little insecure fat girl inside... that'll never change.. no matter how much I lose.. or how successful I become business wise...
