No, what's "awesome" is the amount of traffic and affiliate-free signups they will get during the almost six months of FREE advertising participants of this "contest" will be handing them.

Think about it.
Webmasters/Affiliates will be giving away ref-free signups (as well as become cheap, meaning free, advertising) trying to win 100 bucks. No thanks, i'll go the regular route and get paid for EVERY signup I send.

I'm not hatin', just pointing out the advertising ploy (it also has a dual edge...webmasters will be slitting their own throats...call it a test run to more sponsors doing the same type of thing). It comes down to more conversions for them, less affiliate payouts they have to issue and a shitload of free advertising that will last for as long as the sticker is legible and seen in those "awesome public places").

Another step in the testing of ways to get rid of affiliates. Believe it or not.

Sponsor-hosted/owned tubesites were the first BIG move to get rid of affiliates imo...this type of advertising is the next...

Let's face it, EVERYONE loves free money and simple contests (for the simple-minded) like these are a way for BOTH sides to get it. Too bad the payout is a one-shot for all the "contestants" to try to win while the contest sponsor continues to reap the benefits loOong after the contest is over.

think about...world-wide advertising for what we already know is 300 dollars definite...how many of those 20 dollar prizes you think will get done...legally they'll only have to post one (and pay one) to cover the contest rules.
