What's better than game 7 of the Stanley Cup final?

Nothing.

CDSmith 06-11-2009 05:25 AM

This may be the best cup series in over 10 years.

Go Pens.

gornyhuy 06-11-2009 05:55 AM

Several things come to mind:
-Sitting in a dark room in silence
-getting you balls viced
-Having your jaws forced open so a fat woman can squat over your face and spray explosive diarrhea into your throat

;)

Nicky 06-11-2009 06:01 AM

Go RED WINGS :)

Game would be better without Bettman using the refs to get all series as long as possible..

CarlosTheGaucho 06-11-2009 06:25 AM

Might be worthy to bet a draw.

CDSmith 06-11-2009 06:59 AM

Growing up where I did, in the heart of hockey country, playing it all through my childhood, teens, and all through my 20's, I can say with utter certainty that the kids who weren't into hockey and had no sense of respect for the game whatsoever were to a one either nerds with no sports skills or just plain goodoffs. They were often ridiculed without mercy for their lack of sense when it came to hockey.

And there is nothing better than game 7 in a Stanley cup series.

I know there are hockey fans here, where are they?

FUCK J0EL 06-11-2009 07:01 AM

It would be better if the Habs were there ;)

CarlosTheGaucho 06-11-2009 07:01 AM

too bad I don't own cable, I'll have to hit some sports bar late in the night

I was watching all the Stanley cup series from 93 / 94 till 2001 /02 don't have a tv ever since, times like these are the only times I miss it

Twistys Tim 06-11-2009 07:25 AM

The World Cup Finals come to mind...

Sounds like me. Not into my 20's though.

MetaMan 06-11-2009 07:30 AM

Wait Wat? the Flames are out?

JC Maldini 06-11-2009 07:52 AM

Best of all the NHL has the sports spotlight Friday night...no sharing with the NBA. I just hope the refs call a fair game.

GO WINGS!!

OT can be part of game 7, adding to the awesomeness that it already is.

But with or without OT I am 100% confident it's going to be one hell of a great game.

I just love really good hockey is all. Neither team is my #1 fav, but I'm rooting for the Pens for several reasons that I'll keep to myself.

I made a bet with my gf... she picks the team and ill bet for the other team, which just makes everything more exciting.. if i was betting 100k on the game my heart would race the whole game.. would be like a drug.

Fucksakes 06-11-2009 10:35 AM

anyone want to bet me 100$.. you get to pick the team.

I've already got enough cash on the line on this one, but someone should take your bet here.

Good luck.

kane 06-11-2009 01:48 PM

I'm a huge Pens fan and am very excited for this game. After the pens went down 0-2 in the series I felt dred. When they came back and tied it up at 2-2 I felt joy. then dread again after the 5-0 crushing they took an then joy again. I have joked with my friends that I'm going to have a heart attack and can't take this.

So tomorrow I have my day planned. Getting up early so I get everything done before the game starts. Ordering my favorite pizza (I haven't had a pizza in about 2 years since I started eating more healthy so it will probably make me sick :) ) and I'm taking the rest of the night off. If the Pens win, I'll be celebrating. If they lose I'll be drinking my sorrows away.

gmr324 06-11-2009 02:12 PM

Go Leafs

Agent 488 06-11-2009 02:18 PM

Far-L 06-11-2009 06:01 PM

The series has been fun to watch except that fifth game which was just a complete meltdown but I think the Pens actually have a chance and it will be fun to watch... even better if the Pens win.

flashfire 06-11-2009 07:58 PM

nothing is better...well if my team was in it maybe a little better

gecko 06-11-2009 08:36 PM

I think I'll order in some 'za as well. Good idea.

And I hear you on the heart attack thing Kane, it really has been a terrific series and one hell of a rollercoaster ride.

Indeed. Although I think it would be worse in Pittsburgh. Detroit is used to winning already and their city is already banged up enough. :D

Have you put any $$ on them? If not you may want to take up Fucksakes on his offer, see above. :D

What's your team?

I'd have liked to have seen the Flames in it, or even Vancouver who went the farthest of any Canadian-based team.
