How much are you paying for each year per domain
How much are you paying for each year per domain to your domain registrar?
We are paying $10 a domain for 1yr and I think there are better deals available... |
I'm paying $8-10, have several registrars.
|
I pay around $8 here:
http://www.moniker.com But, price is only part of the consideration. You also want good customer service and security, and Moniker is known for their quality. :thumbsup |
I can offer you 7.50 or less plus $100 of free extras and free privacy on 5 or more domains.
This applies to new/renewal and transfers. Registrar will be godaddy. Im leaving the office now but icq me later or send your details to [email protected] and l will get back to you later today. Thanks :) |

as we have over 400 domains we should be able to get a good deal I expect. I emailed our current registrar and they said they could not do any better on price. There service has alway been good however you would think with so many names that they would be able to do something. |
namecheap mainly

granted they do a lot of volume but still |
$7
........ |
domain privacy should be free :2 cents:
move your domains around if you have to, it is not a big deal, I mainly move mine between godaddy and namecheap, and you should never pay more than around $8 a domain |
count yourself lucky.. When I started in this business I was paying $75/year. This is why, at this point, $10/year is nothing.

The same applies to anyone with 25 + domains , each account is tailor made to suit. Thanks |
$8.81 @ namecheap.com (because I have all those nifty options)
but I can register also at $6.50 but do not have all those options that I have at NameCheap... |

verisign fee is around 6.95 now + 20cents to icann thus wholesale prices are around 7.15 or so. I believe prices are going up later this year by another 30-40cents. |

With that in mind ......Domains will continue to remain a good investment and only increase in value over time. Remember its like real estate(land).....there are not making any more .coms :winkwink::) once you have a name its unique. |

When I 1st started you had to use network solutions...they charged at the time $35 for 2 years. If you wanted to transfer the domain to someone fast...they charged you $200...otherwise you had to wait a couple of weeks for them to transfer. I recommend anyone with great domains to start registering them for the max number of years...everything goes up in price...and so will domains. :2 cents: |
