Thinking about a car...
Ran across this one today... 125 miles on it..It's a custom job done my West Coast Customs for the Learning channel show "Street Customs". 20-inch wheels and tires, upper and lower grilles from Street Scene Equiptment, audio upgrades from Polk Audio, Roadwire leather interior with West Coast Customs logo embossed, Stillen brake and rotors...
Nice, but I'm thinking a 30 year old single guy might appreciate it more than I. http://tkcarsites.homenetinc.com/tit...cles/X4702.jpg http://tkcarsites.homenetinc.com/tit...s/X4702(3).jpg http://tkcarsites.homenetinc.com/tit...s/X4702(5).jpg |
I always figured you'd eventually get a purple car.
|
you need that...
|
I think its sharp. Id scoop it up if I was you. Hard to find something original like that so well done. :2 cents:

Would a 30-year-old single guy really buy that? I hope not...

If your gonna get custom, always better to do it yourself...
You never know what/where/how things we're done to your ride unless you booked the shop yourself. That being said, something about a dropped escalade, with some tasteful accents screams pk to me... (ps my roomie and her man are getting married this weekend, and honeymooning up in WA... anything I should tell them to check out?) |
Your not allowed to purchase that unless you buy me a standard one :thumbsup
:1orglaugh |
you absolutely would appreciate that :)

As far as honeymooning in WA.. it depends on where they are in the state.. are they in Seattle or on the coast? |
You're probably not going to like reading this, but when that first picture loaded, I thought, "oh my god, it's a hearse." :1orglaugh

Love Yukons, I've done some great builds on those, as well as the Tahoe's. Personally I'm a bigger fan of the older mid 90s body styles... Whatever you end up getting... bonus points for air ride :thumbsup:thumbsup |

Not sure what your friends are into. There's the Seattle waterfront.. great for roaming around. The Mariners are in town this weekend and into part of next week...if they like baseball, the annual Tulip festival is going on up north in Skagit Valley, the annual Western WA Spring fair is this weekend (completely with demolition derby on Saturday night). |

No way she's going to find a shop that is just as "Good" and get it done for the same price as she would be paying for this truck. |

And totally agree with you on the anti bubbly... lol I still prefer building older 94-97 s10s over any of the newer stock for same reasons... They destroyed grill options in the newer models, and bodies went way to curvy... It's a truck, not a supermodel... I like lines on my rides... :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

Been around the mod circuit along time now. :thumbsup |
Ahh.. then they might also want to hit the EMP http://www.empsfm.org/index.asp
and as far as Cobain goes.. The house he died in.. 171 Lake Washington Blvd. E The park next to it is where his ashes are scattered. http://thecrocodile.com/index.html Club that was the center of Seattle grunge for years. if they want a late night greasy spoon... Beth's Cafe (Okay I'm partial to the name) http://bethscafe.com/ 24 hours.. features a 12 egg omelet served on a pizza pan. Has been featured in alot of tv shows. Very grunge. |

I know how hard it is to find reputable shops to do work on my cars. It won't be any easier for her. West Coast Customs does good work. Don't let their shows fool you. What they have done to that truck is basic mods. They didn't cut the roof off and convert it into a convertible. She doesn't have to worry about the structure of the car or mods done to the motor. Also the car wasn't done yesterday so any bugs or problems with the truck would have been addressed already. With the amount of minor mods they did she'd be looking at minimum $15k to have another shop do the work. Easily double that. They did more mods then she listed in her o.p.. She hasn't mentioned the price but I can almost guarantee she would be getting a deal by buying this truck already modded. |
Nice choice.:thumbsup

cute, I dig the flashy rims but its not a crazy color. Looks roomy inside and not too too blingish. I like the dark windows too. :)
I think you would definitely appreciate it. Never too old for a fun ride! |

I actually saw a black Challenger at the Dodge dealer on Friday. Was there dropping off my son when he was picking up his truck from service. He of course was drooling over it. I wasn't impressed. |

When they were finally introduced and I saw them in person it was kind of a let down. It is kind of hard to compare fuel injected turbo blah blah electronic this and thats with the old look of raw steel, 8mpg beasts that used to rule the main streets. AM radios, pistol grip shifters, shaker hood scoops that ACTUALLY made a difference. The thunderous roar of glass packs and 450 raw HP, smoking tires, etc. Ok I'm getting excited here. You get my point :1orglaugh |
