All time fave video game?
 

Console, PC, arcade..heck even an old BBS door game...what is your fave video game of all time?

Mine is probably either the Monkey Island games or The Sims series (yes, I know..girlie).

Doom. When it first came out it blew my mind. It really was far and beyond anything else I had ever played.

Honorable mentions to Quake 3, Deus Ex, Wipeout and Gran Turismo

Counter Strike.. altho ppl tell me COD is way better...

All time favorite game is Ultima Online (UO). I still pwn in WOW battlegrounds a few times a month to get my gaming fix.

On the old amiga it was Settlers, on the PC it was Dune and Command and Conquer

Old Seige Perilous UO maybe but not that current piece of shit they call UO.

NASCAR Racing 2003 on the PC

More simulator than game but it's the closest you can get to racing NASCAR without getting in
an actually race car. Endless mods from a huge online community and racing against them was the best.
I really liked how you could paint your own car down to the finest detail. Here's one I did from a blank template.

yup those 2 diablo games killed a ton of time for me...

BUT civilization probably ate more hours than ANY other game. From the original on my 486 to civ 4 god those games ate up some HOURS!

Right now though Rock Band 2 is the game I spend a ton of time playing since I have an insane amount of tracks for it.

I'm very tempted to say Call Of Duty 4.

I used to love my old Sega Megadrive(Genesis) games though. Played them all day and night when i was younger. So many classics.

Oh god lots of very good games in this thread. UFO was killer :) In the hungarian translation the translator had some fun and translated the Easy as Difficult, and the Diffucult as Easy. So we played on Easy (Konnyu) what was actualy the hardest. Really painfull weeks we had :D
