I'm not afraid of dying. I'm afraid of dying without being remembered.

The idea of being dead doesn't bother me. The act of dying sounds like shit though.

I have lived a full life to this point. I am missing the kids, and a few 'goals' but I have few regrets.

Yes, I want to live forever and preferably have eternal youth as well.

A lot of people say the don't want to die because they don't want to see their family die before them etc. To be honest that wouldn't deter me at all. I still want to live forever. I can't explain why but I just really want to live forever, just to see what the world will be like in 500 years. I think it would be fun.

I want to live forever but have good health and not be in any pain.

I am not afraid to leave behind family or loved ones, I am not really close to anyone and don't have a family of my own nor do I want them. I just want to live because I just want to live. Death terrifies me. After death you are nothingness.

I have died before...

Seriously. About 20 years ago, I had a severe case of encephalitis, which cause inflammation of the lining of the brain.
I was hospitalized, and died for close to 3 or 4 mins. But the doctors brought me back.

So, having experienced it, I am no longer afraid of death. I DONT live my life in a 'stupid, reckless or precarious' way... Nor do I look forward to the inevitable... But I have to truthfully say that NO. I am NOT afraid...

Not anymore....I just hope I have a calm death, without pain...

I know one day I will be dead and I'm not afraid of that. We all gotta go sometime, but I'm afraid of dying now because I'm still young and there is still lots of life to live.

My father died and it made me realize, I don't want to die... Though I am curious to what it's like being dead, and I'd love to be able to see my family and friends that have died again, but in reality, I'm with Bausch, I'd rather live for eternity in good health and young then die, especially now. no, I'm not. We all die so the only thing that we can do is LIVE our lives the best that we can. If I was scared of death I wouldn't eat, drink, smoke the shit that I do. I don't try in any way to live healthy. I might pay for that in time, but I want to live my life MY way and not according to what this person says or what some useless magazine or tv ad says. If I die way before "my time" so be it. At least I enjoyed the life I did have and didn't live as if I was already dead or dying.

Yah I am because I have a daughter and a loving wife who supports everything I do.

Im afraid of a slow painful death more than anything. And the unknown possiblity, if anything happens as you die, once you die, ect. After watching my aunt suffer so much with cancer its kind of a scary thought.

Also afraid to die of something stupid like an ear infection or car accident, etc.
