I do not generate that much per month any longer in adult.
Think I can get it back there, but currently do not and it is mostly my fault as I have been working on other stuff this year and had a lot of downtime last two years with medical issues.

the majority of those doing more than 10k nowadays, are program owners that live off many webmasters sending them sales. If they had to work on their own they would not be able to do 500 bucks per month.

Adult sales as an affiliate per month > 10k
Dating sales as an affiliate per month > 5k

Currently working on expanding both my adult and dating networks throughout 09, many projects currently in development. Had a server crash right at the end of 08 in which I lost 115 sites and around 5k/month.

Last year was my best to date, and yes I make more than $10k a month. While some people will sit and tell you that $10k a month is easy, it really is not (especially with the current economic client). A lot of people can turn high numbers, but the question lies in how much it took them to make that $10k a month, and if that $10k a month is net.

The key to doing numbers like this is to really diversify. While doing 1 thing that used to make you those numbers might not work now, why not extend into multiple revenue streams.

For instance, if you used to submit a TGP gallery or an MGP gallery a day, why not submit the collection of galleries you have to linklists after putting together a free site? Once you do this, make sure you have your own TGP or MGP site setup that you can include in your recip links. Aside from that, why not open up a blog and for the daily updates, you can give mention of that gallery?

Have paysites? Setup some partner accounts on several legal tube sites where you can attach a banner or text link to each video. Make sure the watermark is attached in order to reveive some type in traffic. So you have a variety of sites such as blogs, mgp's, tubes? Why not add a mailing list, and find some applicable advertisers that your readers would like?

The point is, there are so many ways to make money in adult, but it just requires some work like anything else. Diversify and become a student of this business, and you'll be a success.

Combined we are just under that a month. maybe 12 to 1500 under.

But its a nice living.

Well it didn't become worth my time to work on adult anymore. Margins were getting razor thin that it became obvious that adult wasn't going to work in the long term so I'm stopping adult sales until (if) the market changes.

smart move, I should have gone into the dating niche years ago, i only really started late last year.

no regrets

I don't make that much in adult and whatever we make I just use enough to pay the bills and I am reinvesting the rest: in good domain names that have given me ideas, content, tools...

Also, at the moment I have mostly worked for others and have made few sales; but the sites I've made for myself convert very well even with only a few hits per day. So, I am investing my time in building up a network that will feed itself with traffic and then we'll talk :winkwink:

3-3.5k from porn :( ...... so no there yet... it is most likely to decrease as I have learned how to exploit mainstream.... I am making SEO bombs in my basement (Home land security guys.. this is a Joke of course!!!) ..... still it is nice change to fund my other stuff.....
