Anyone going to the Inauguration?
They are talking like this one is going to be the party of the year. When I was growing up out side of DC the whole family would come visit and we would drive into DC. So are you going? I thought about it but there's going to be sooooo many people that I will be sitting on my sofa watching it on tv.
I do have to say I had fun every one I had gone to but then I was young and probably more happy we didn't have to go to school. :) |
No way I would ever go to that if it was free and they saved me a seat up front
I will be watching it on the tube..........

i heard the hotels in dc of that week are super cheap
I have some family in VA that will be there... I'm hoping my uncle nabs some great pics for me.
I live really close to it, and there's no way I'm even going outside. There's already a billion tourists here, wandering around asking for directions and looking terrified whenever a bum is nearby.
I think i received an invitation but i cant tell if its real or not =))
no way. I probably won't even watch on tv
I live in DC and the only thing I want to do is lock myself inside until its over. The sudden influx of people here is insane. Getting to the national mall to go the concerts and all that jazz would be a total mess. I say leave it to the tourists and fat cats on the hill, ill be nice and warm inside.

No.

I think I'm going to find a more local party to go and watch it. I'm sure there'll be bars in NYC having parties if not whole sections of the city.
