MCCain is so full of shit 9it's not even funny.
A) first of all he's running for President not King or Congress. The President doesn't enact tax laws CONGRESS does. If McCain wants to keep the Bush tax cut for the upper bracket he has to ask CONGRESS ot do it. Do you HONESTLY think a democratically controlled Congress will do that? Do you HONESTLY think a democratically controlled Congress will do ANYHTHING McCain wants without severe compromising on his part? B) He talks about government giveaways and handouts and socialism. Didn't he vote FOR the bailout? yes. Isn't he proposing a $5000 tax CREDIT for his health care plan? YES. for those that don't know a CREDIT is not a DEDUCTION. A deduction you are just reducing your own taxes. A credit means the GOVERNMENT is giving you a check for $5000. Now where is this CREDIT money going to come from? Well he's going to TAX the HIGHEST income earners health insurance. So in other words he taking money form the wealthiest Americans and is going to REDISTRIBUTE it to everyone else. And this is different from Obama how? He says Obama's health care plan is bad. Considering it's the SAME health plan McCain gladly accepts as being a member of the government and I find that laughable. If it's so bad why doesn't McCain get his own plan? It's not like he can't afford a private plan. his wife is worth over $100 million. Also he says the government should stay out of healthcare. Last time I checked the money that you get from his health tax credit is coming form the GOVERNMENT. I about 100% positive the check will say "United States of America" on it somewhere. Is he seriously trying to tell us that he plans on giving everyone a $500 check and he's doesn't have any plan to make sure that check gets spent on health insurance instead of a HDTV or a vacation? If not then his "health" care plan is not only stupid, but won't solve the health care problem at all. If he does have some sort of accounting for the money then that IS in fact getting the government involved. |

What I also find is that the Republican target voting base doesn't even understand how the US government works. That's why Palin can get away with spewing this crap... --- Q: Brandon Garcia wants to know, ?What does the Vice President do?? PALIN: That?s something that Piper would ask me! ? [T]hey?re in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom. http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/21/palin-vp-senate/ --- |
Here is the thing. They are all blowing smoke up your ass.
There is nothing either of them can do to fix shit or generate enough money to do anything. It's all a pipe dream and false promises to get them elected. No need to worry. Besides, if you are smart you do not pay much in taxes anyway. Let the poor uneducated people pay all the taxes. |

Obama will win it in the end. you will see....

I hope Obama increase taxes, for most people.
Your government need to stop making a deficit. |

Obama wants to increase taxes by 3% for those making a profit of over 250,000... remember I said profit. So if someone is making 300,000 profit... 50,000 of that will be taxed at the higher level resulting in having to pay about $1500 more than they are now for that same amount. People who are making over 700,000 profit have a higher bracket and so on. |
Are you a former Jehovah's Witness?

The problem is that there's a bad word for a government that supports it's people "socialest" (according to that pic).
There is no bad word for a government that borrows money until it's the poorest rich country on the planet and then creates money out of thin air that the tax payers have to pay back. Create a governmental political word for that type of government and suddenly there'll be a new bad guy in town. |

Look, if Obama wants to write me an affidavit saying that the extent of the increase in my tax obligations will be limited to an additional $257 a year, then I'll write him a check for $1,028 to cover his 4 years of idiocy and cast a vote for him. But frankly, THAT has as much a chance of happening as does a "only $257/yr increase" |
