Things have been working out great. We do advertize in magazines such as High Times, and some music mags, so we get good traffic that way.

And yes there is a HUGE market for these things, especially considering the fact that:
A: There are lots of college students, with internet access, who smoke and are bombarded with credit cards as soon as they turn 18. They also like to use these credit cards online and in many places where this product is not available, all they can do is order online
B: Many baby boomers who still like to smoke, but are now parents, businessmen, etc... can not be seen buying this stuff at the local headshop... They love the fact that we give them private packaging and complete privacy in buying this stuff. Alex

Trust me, we are pretty busy, sales wise. You just have to have the right marketing and products. I dont know what the guy at the flea market is doing, but online we are selling all across the nation and to canada, so business is pretty good, especially from the eastcoast and midwest. Alex

When I first turned 18, I went into a head shop with a friend and asked to look at the bongs... the owner of the store go SO mad, almost kicked me out. He demaded that anytime after that we call them tobaco pipes. :1orglaugh

Yup same shit happened to me...i went into a head shop right accross the street from NC State University...i went in & said "Yo...i need something to burn my weed in, what u got?". He told me the "rules" & from that day i always called them "tobacco utensils" :1orglaugh

heh, my local shop has this sign on the door that says "these are for tobacco use only. Any discussion for use otherwise and we'll ask you to get the fuck out. And if you try to show us your own, we'll throw your ass out. Either way, shut the fuck up!"

Hey The guys that run 420Palace.com have office space literally right above the CFF office. We, (ahem, I mean ME) told them about GFY. They have boxes of bongs being brought up to their office all the time. Trust me they make sales.

I told them that you guys would be able to upsell out of your members areas or TGP's, AVS's or Free sites. And since it's not direct competition with your porn biz, it could make both parties some $$. :)

Maybe we can drag their asses out to Vegas with us, and you guys could sample some of the goods. :stoned

They make great gifts, and with the holiday just around the corner... :)

Hey to all you guys who are talking about how pissed you got when you got kicked out of a headshop for using terms like bongs and weed. You gotta realize that this is nothing against the customer, why would we want to piss off our customers? But the fact is that many shops have been closed down simply because an FBI agent will go in there undercover and say: " I want to buy a bong". If the headshop sell his him one, they are immidiately arrested for distributing drug paraphenelia and their funds frozen. So what would you do if some one asked you to buy a bong? Alex

85% of our glass is handblown and is definetely very high quality. We have LOTS of return customers. You are probably comparing it to the tons of sites out there selling cheaply made and very thin Indian glass, which makes people very pissed off and they usually charge back. Alex

By the way, omnilounge buys their stuff from puffpipes, who is a distributor, who buys from my supplier who is the manufacturer. So by cutting out their middle man, we are able to offer lower prices. Alex

hmm, up here in Canada, the people who work in the pot stores blatantly talk about pot, and admit that everything they have it for smoking it. They do to me, at least.
