So my youtube video has 2 million+ views and is a year old and they pull this shit...
 

One of my youtube videos has 2 million + views and has been on there for over 10 months. It gets about 20,000 views per day right now and that makes me a good $600+ per month from their ad sharing program (easy easy money) well today all of a sudden the video was flagged and can't be viewed by minors which means my ads wont display anymore. $6,000+ per year down the drain and now I'm also afraid of this happening to the rest of my videos. How can a video go that long and then get flagged out of the blue like that?

Why not resubmit the video with identical keywords and such?

I know you can't have any fights of people getting hurt, jumped or at school etc.... but my videos I upload are very tame for this reason but still they are censoring them.

Well I got lucky on the vid, it used to only get like 1,000 views a day but once it got to the million mark I guess it made everyone click on it a lot more and it just went out of control from there. I could do that but I'm not sure it would take off the same again.

When you get that many views don't delete any comments.
The A-hole can come back to rate your video low and flag it.

Yeah, a million views attracts another million for sure.
Not easy to just get that spot back.

Happened to me several times, not with that many views, but as soon as a video attracts alot of attention, there are always some assholes flagging it...and if it's controversial in any way, it gets pulled. This rule doesn't apply to fluffy funny animals, cute babies and any self proclaimed crusaders for a good cause.

same thing happened to me .. fo r 8 month ol video .. I kept sending them emails about it . but I keep getting back the same autimated responce email .. fuckers

Interesting. I have another video that has been flagged since day one and has about 400,000 views and I just noticed they de-flagged that video. I wonder how this works. I mean its in their best interest to keep my ads up cause thats more money for them.

Maybe once somebody reviews my account they will see that the video is not bad at all and de-flag this one as well. I mean damn an extra $6,000 for google is an extra $6,000.

They deleted my account with more than 3 million views and close to 200 videos

Yea I know the feeling. I just had my account and my all my vids deleted. I had a few vids with 500k plus page views. Was bringing in about $500 a month.

The people making the racist comments are more likely to seek revenge.
They have a "vested" belief in their comments.

The feedback is great info when buying but buyers are also holding the sellers hostage
sometimes by threatening to leave negative feedback if they don't get all the "extras"
that they want. I also bought some crap on ebay and was afraid to leave negative feedback because the seller didn't leave my feedback yet.

It could easily be competition. It's not that hard to get somebody's video axed on youtube. There's botscripts for every function. I haven't seen a flagging bot yet, but I wouldn't doubt it if people got them tucker away too. All it takes is a few flags from a bunch of generated accounts and you can kiss your shit goodbye.

I had some leftover material from a recent edit so, just for the hell of it, I threw together a quick pseudo artsy clip and uploaded it.

In less than five (5) minutes it was gone :disgust

May I ask how many videos do you have on youtube? How many of them actually generate money? And do you produce your own content, or license it?

i got denied on one account and approved on a different account

they pulled me from the partner account claiming hte music in the video was not mine when i owned all rights to it
