I want to do cam shows and I'm not quite sure where to start.......
 

So I want to use my place in San Diego to do live cam shows, and I'm not quite sure how to set it all up, and who to go through.....

What cam companies are the best?

Use Splitcam or similar program so you can work more than one site at a time, find out which one makes the best money for you, models I know say webcams.com is one of the better ones for making money and LiveJasmine is the worst.

Also, if you have your own website, find one that allows you to do scheduled nude-cam shows for your members while charging non-members who wish to join in, there are a few who do this.

Splitcam allows you to work more than one at the same exact time. Most girls who make a living at cams do that. When you get a private at one you shut the others off.

In the meantime, Imlive is pretty fun, they knocked the cam girls down to 30% and I was still doing ok, around 30-40$ per hr. You will really do well where ever u go.

uh, since the payout is usually around $1 per minute... $30 - $40 is pretty good, pretty pretty, pretty good.

Definitely right as far as personality. You seem to have a pretty vibrant personality and that is really what working web cam takes. Girls seem to just show up and they think that is enough. These days there are multiple sites to choose to work on and 100's of girls at any given time. You really get out of it what you put into it.

I have done webcam with Video Secrets for a few years now and I have made a steady and awesome living with it on top of my other projects. With your outgoing personality you will totally rock at it easily.

Make sure when you are trying different places out you give it at least a little bit of time before you make a choice where you will make your home. As with anything in this industry there are treads and waves and up's and downs.

Im sure u work rly hard to get that $30-$40 an hour hun but plz dont think that thats good pay for a cam girl, my new model, who doesnt have 1 toy, shitty audio and not one "regular" fan was making 50-60$ an hour her very first 3 days on the job. My 45 yr old MILF model with a crappy USB cam and only works about 10 hours a week makes about 40$ an hour, sometimes more. Mbe youd like to come work for me? Ill hook u up ;)

if you setup cams on 3-4 places EACH doing 30-40/hr then you're bankin in a HURRY, the key is to go on a bunch of those places at the same time. Why settle for only one of them?

Forgive me, but isn't the money in the private shows? You can't do 4 of those at once.

But I think you mean you're available on 4 to fish for the privates.

First thing you really need to figure out is whether you're going to be a "cam girl" or you're a pornstar/sologirl who does member cam shows.. There's a difference. cam girls are a dime a dozen. The other though typically do maybe 1 scheduled show a day or a couple a week on a site like CamZ.. For example, on CamZ you'll get performers like Mercedes Ashley, Vicky Vette, Sandee Westgate, Nina Hartley etc. Then you also get solo girls like vanilladeville.com and naughtyallie.com, both of which you should try and talk to about doing member cam shows.

The pager sites like webcamlive.co.uk, xxxcambabes.com or camgirlfantasy.com have the highest percentage payouts -- usually around 75%.

However, high percentage payout does not always equal highest amount of money in your hands. The site has to have decent, qualified traffic, as well.

It's good to have a few different kinds of sites in the mix. Sign up for pager sites that sell blocks of time as well as per minute chat sites. Be prepared to do a lot of your own promotion, since many of these sites are so crowded with models that it's hard to just ride traffic.

You must charge more than $3 per minute (the average rate), hun, Cuz 30% (the average pay) of $3 is .9. .9 x 60 = $54 per hour if you have private every minute of every hour.

Its those middlemen who bring in millions of possible buyers its the same with affliates.

Of course everyone would like to" cut out the middle man" and work all their own shows but then comes the fact you have to spend big bucks for traffic,advertising and promotion,I think penny is far from ready for that leap yet.

So when she cuts out those middlemen please also advise her where she will get 50,000 + visitors a day :thumbsup
