Who else who reads this board goes and gets a STD test every month.

I am curious to see who does this either because they are talent, sleep with talent, or just want to make sure they don't spread any STD's.

Not me. Haven't been tested in a few years, but I've been with the same girl the entire time.

I get tested semi-regularly. Thirty-nine years old and I have never had an STD yet of any kind!

I've only been tested twice in my life and it was the scariest to things I ever did.

I was just tested a couple weeks ago.. I always assumed I was clean but it was still kinda scary clicking to get the results for the 1st time.

I get tested aprox every month or at least every 40 days or so

As the Industry "mandate", I get tested every 30 days for HIV, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea, all by State-of-the-Art DNA, by PCR, which has a much shorter window than the 6-weeks to 6-months that the Elisa HIV test has.

Though I work on film without condoms much of the time, my private life is ALWAYS with condoms -- I owe that to the talent pool.

Do you really need to get an STD test when you get laid once a decade? I mean. symptoms should show up by then.. :Oh crap

I get tested every month,a full panel work up to make sure my thyroid is ok, STDs T4s and a ton of other stuff is included. :thumbsup:thumbsup

Same here. I've given blood and have never been denied. With the past scares in the industry, which seam to be more educational as you get to learn how bad the spread of STDs is, I've considered getting tested.

Once you hear some of the horror stories, the answer seams to be yes. Thier is like several version of herbies, from what I've just read.

So, now I've even more convinced to do so, just to calm my fears.

i am terrible for rubbers. i hate the fucking things, and it usually doesn't take much for me to say fuck it and stab it in bareback. i guess i like playing a little russian roulette with my cock. oddly enough it's usually the chick who saying 'fuck it, just do it' i just tend to agree. it's the 3 or 4 days afterwards when i start realizing what i did and run off to go get tested. terrible, heh.

I got tested every 3-4 weeks for 5-6 years..... just stopped shooting POV so I don't get tested anymore... never caught a damn thing. time to get out while the gettin's good. -bmb

Those that fuck on camera have to get a test once a month or noone will work with them. I prefer the girls Im working with to get tested the night b4 lol

Even for a long time after I stopped being in front of of the sharp end of the lens I kept getting my monthly clearance just in case.

Aids attacks the immune system and its its a slowly propigating disease. You can get get tested for hiv but the virus might not show up yet. Some people end up getting full blown aids after a few years having sex with a partner who is infected. You think I would fuck some girl without a condom I didnt know I would spend the rest of my life with hell no I am too vain for that.

Lets face reality. Most of these girls do not give a flying fuck about safety if they are fucking a guy outside of the talent pool. If they are all hot they don't give a shit if there is a condom involved or not.
