I would have taken it home and kept a close eye on the news. If it turned out that the guards were ordered to pay back the money out of their own pocket, I would have anonymously mailed the money back since that's just not right. But if we are talking about BoA just eating the $140k lost, I'm keeping what I found.

Completely untraceable, lol. No chance in hell I'm giving that back.

no way I'd return them... even if they were marked in some way I'd just keep all my receipts so that I can prove where I've been the past week and hope it doesn't match up to anything criminal ;) If they tried to charge me with a robbery they'd have no witness, if they simply say I was spending the money I would say hell yeah I was spending the money that I FOUND, nothing illegal about that.

It doesnt matter how you came upon that money, even if someone gave it to you(in possesion of stolen goods), if you are caught spending that money you will be charged with a crime and you will do time.

If it isn't yours then it has to be somebodies and willfully denying someone their property regardless of the situation is still theft. Not to mention with that sum of money you might likely be charged with Grand Theft since you had the opportunity to return it but didnt even try.
