Accounting.. last job before starting PK was General Accounting manager for a non-profit company.
Funniest thing, last week in more than one conversation with the local office of a Top 10 International accounting firm, I was offered a "professional staff" position with starting pay about 5 times a year what I made back in 1994. All I could think of is that I used to eat auditors alive and didn't want to become one. Second thought was to break the salary down by hour compared to what I net now. I just can't see giving up my 20 foot commute to go to work 8 hours a day for someone else and have to buy a professional wardrobe again... it sounds too much like... ummm... normal. PK |
