Hamlin said she heard male TSA agents snickering as she took out the ring. She was scanned again and was allowed to board even though she still was wearing a belly button ring.

Always two sides to the story. I'm sure she was running late to her flight and was acting like an asshat from the start. This behavior caused increased scrutiny.

The only thing the officers did wrong is they should have gotten law enforcement involved the moment she wanted to "show" her piercings to a female TSA person. Let them deal with it.

I never had any problems with my nipple rings.

THat's so incredible. That poor woman. The TSA is such a bunch of asshats to begin with, I can't imagine dealing with the Texan variety.

Maybe they figured she was going to bronski some other passengers and they did'nt wait an eye injury.
