Whats your top 10 reasons?
1. I like the fact that this is large show but is closed to the public. For example when we were in Vegas in 06, I think we shared an elevator with one industry person in the 6 days we were there. At Internext FL if they are on the elevator, they are in adult. Easier to approach new people this way. 2. Closer to home. Being east coast we don't get that many large shows and this is definitely closer than Vegas. 3. I don't normally attend large shows as I seem to get overwhelmed with people and not be as productive as I am at smaller shows. But this will be our first time back since August 05. 4. Unlike Vegas, I was actually able to get internet when we stayed in FL. 5. (Need to throw in something perverted so the surfers will keep reading). Gotta love those bikini's in August over long sleeves in January. 6. Love the pools and hanging by the bar outdoors. Not much of a swimmer (as the weight ain't going down anytime soon) but love the views. 7. Allegiant air flies out of Greenville direct to Fort Lauderdale for something like $60! Can't beat that! 8. Heading to Miami gives me access to some of the best little cigar shops in Florida. And if you know anything about us, we are cigar lovers. 9. (Personal Reason) - Might not apply to you, but the wife loves tagging along when she can and it is nice to have the arm candy with me when I travel and she loves hitting Florida whenever she can. 10. Come on it is Miami ... what more do you need. So if you have any extra passes Chris, you know they won't go to waste here :). |

10. POKER!! That's where I'll be... knocking out the sponsors 9. This will be my 5th SL Internext & also my 10th Internext in a row! I've never missed one & I'm scared that if I do, it'd mess up my chi 8. It's a good excuse for girls ( and all the hot guys ) to wear as little as possible around the pool! 7. Someone ALWAYS passes out in the hallway & then knocks on my hotel room at 5AM looking to crash... USUALLY followed closely by hotel security. Who's it going to be this year? 6. The venue is CLOSED to the public, making it easier to see everyone when they don't have a place to hide. All conventions should have that policy 5. Seeing everyone that I missed in Vegas since they were at the "other" party. 4. It's the closest and the cheapest to fly to for me, from Costa Rica. can't pass up the opp for a quick vacation/biz getaway. 3. Miami has some great clubs & party spots as well as lots of hotties. Plus NON-STOP partying at the show. Thanks to the sponsors! 2. I get to play "avoid getting puked on!" Every show that almost happens. Seriously... I used to have a serious phobia of vomit. But whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? AND THE #1 REASON IS.... whomever wasn't at the Costa Rica Bash will be subjected to me showing them all my fucking wedding photos that I will be carrying in my purse. As well as the wedding videos which I'll make them watch on my Ipod. If you haven't seen them they're at My Goofy Wedding Site complete with goofy wedding font! |

I used to go every years back in the days, not anymore.
What's the improvement compared to last year show? I saw a very interresting GFY thread about affiliates not going anymore to shows ( It was about Internext Vegas i think ). What have you improved exactly to attract affiliates to your event? I would love to go back to Internext but if i can also do business with other affiliates. |
My top reasons to attend
1 Simply my favorite show of the year. 2 Wife loves the setting and the hotel (corner suite) so I get laid a lot. 3 ROI plain and simple. 4 New relationships made, old ones solidified. 5 Get together with my board contacts for our annual cigar smoke. 6 Sponsoring you get a big bang for your buck 7 boobies and lots of em 8 alcohol poisoning at its best. 9 There is always someone #ucking on the beach (free voyeur content) 10 Simple put this show is a great investment for those who wish to build and grow their business... and did I mention boobies :) |
1) Gets me away from work for a few days.
2) I always meet great women at these shows. 3) I get some good information from the seminars. 4) My brain gets stimulated with loads of new ideas. 5) It makes up for all of the sleep I have been getting during the months prior. 6) Great place for girl watching. 7) I get phone calls and emails months later from people telling me that they met me at Internext and I have no idea who they are, but we have great conversations and sometimes come to some agreement on business. 8) My mother thinks I am at a vacuum cleaner salesman convention. 9) I get to do my own private casting sessions with women looking for work. 10) AVNChris and and the rest of the AVN crew work their asses off to put these fantastic shows together. |

If it wasn't for Internext Florida I wouldn't have the job that I do, and I love it, I've met a ton of new really wonderful friends and associates.

I've never been on a plane and if I get two passes I will use the extra money to fly to the event instead of driving. Either way I'm going to be there. :)

I've only been to one show in my life and it was Internext Vegas... so rightfully shouldn't my second show be the unCONVENTIONal Internext Florida?! I've not been to Florida in 30 years... I was born and raised in the South.... my southern twang will be back in nothing flat. The entire hotel is NON-smoking (It took me a week to not smell cig smoke after Vegas). In, January, I met alot of industry people I've talked to and dealt with for years... there are still more I haven't met! I'm not a show virgin anymore. It's always better the second time! The room rates AVN swung for the Westin can't be beat! And... heck.. if that's not enough... hey... it's Florida in August!!! PK |
