Hotel fucked me. Let an ex-girlfriend into my room!

Okay, last night I went out drinking (heavily) and by around 1ish I was shitfaced. Long story short I ended up with a girl in my hotel room. Not long after my crazy ex starts pounding on the door and I obviously ignore her. She went down to the front desk and somehow convinced them to let her into my room.

When I heard the door being opened I moved to block my ex from coming in and the girl who was in my room moved away from the door and into the other room. I physically restrained my ex as long as I could without being guilty of battery but I had to let her up since she was screaming bloody murder and making a scene worthy of an episode of Jerry Springer.

The guy who let her in was either standing there the whole time or heard the commotion and came up. I told him to get the cops. The girls ended up physically fighting, the police showed up and took both of the girls away. Neither were arrested but they were both asked to leave and not come back.

How would you guys handle the hotel? Letting someone into the room who didn't belong is absolutely inexcusable, especially given the circumstances. This isn't the fucking Holiday Inn. This is a nice place. That shit shouldn't have happened in the first place.

At least she didn't cum in your hair.

Sarah_Jayne 03-18-2008 07:04 AM

How did your ex-girlfriend know where you were staying?

DutchTeenCash 03-18-2008 07:27 AM

file a complaint at the hotel at least get your $ back totally inexcusable for sure

deadbolt the room I always do and yeah how did she know where you were?

It was an amicable break-up. She and I are (were) still friends. She lives in the city I moved from last year. When I hit town the other day she and I went out to dinner. It was just the alcohol that made her act goofy last night. I wouldn't answer her calls all night and she decided to come to my hotel room to see why.

pornguy 03-18-2008 07:58 AM

You didn't HAVE to do shit.....You could've just thrown her the fuck out and told the doorman to come get the bitch....And as you found out, letting that happen made the shit even worse didn't it?.....Or as soon as you heard the door opening, you should have ran to the door and slammed it shut right in the face of whoever was illegally opening your door...

How the fuck can you be guilty of battery when she was illegally allowed into your room? It's clear that you didn't voluntarily open the door.....

I would LOVE an opportunity like that to happen with me and my ex-wife....I'd slap the shit out of her and blame the doorman for letting her in.

That was the hotel's decision. They wanted everyone gone who wasn't staying in the room.

campimp 03-18-2008 08:33 AM

sounds like a psycho to me

Compounding insult to injury.

They should have asked you what you would have liked done. Assuming your ex's name wasn't linked with the room, it was their fuck-up that started the whole thing rolling.

Fuck them, I say. Talk to your lawyer.

You're right. I didn't HAVE to but honestly she was freaking the fuck out. Yelling for help, cursing, kicking, trying to bite me. Frankly I panicked. I'm not accustomed to women acting like that. I'm not generally a violent guy and I guess I just didn't know how to handle the situation. I'm not sure as slapping the shit out of her would have helped the situation.

Turns out that the girl who was in my room was kind of a scrapper. She pretty well kicked my ex's ass. She had my ex pinned on the bed and was punching her in the face MMA style. When the cops showed up the girls had each other in a head lock. I guess my ex got a notice to appear for battery so it sounds like something is going to get done.

your first mistake

dav3 03-18-2008 08:51 AM

You should sue the lock manufacturer for not automatically dead-bolting the door when you lock it from the inside.

carol.prime 03-18-2008 09:02 AM

what's the matter with your ex?, she's already an ex, so it wasn't her business if you're with someone else..

Satan 03-18-2008 09:17 AM

First mistake is you did not have the door dead bolted, they cant let anyone in if you lock the door

Billionaire 03-18-2008 09:27 AM

it is best when some girl you don't know just shows.
Reminds you just how great you are.
you know?
also haha

that sucks man...maybe they should refund your room at least

WarChild 03-18-2008 09:51 AM

Next time give the ex a Pedigree.

Penthouse Tony 03-18-2008 09:54 AM

they didn't call to your room first to say you had a visitor? expose the hotel no point in protecting their name.

SilvercashJeanette 03-18-2008 10:01 AM

Lesson learned- Don't date psycho bitches. Simple.

TheLegacy 03-18-2008 10:06 AM

What does your lawyer say?

escorpio 03-18-2008 10:10 AM

As much as I dislike courts and lawyers I would sue the fuck out of that hotel.

2012 03-18-2008 10:10 AM

girls are just fighting over you wow. you must have a big keyboard :1orglaugh

AssPirate 03-18-2008 10:21 AM

yea dead bolting the room would have solved this.

and I would get a refund. outside of that don't know what you can do.

fallenmuffin 03-18-2008 10:35 AM

I wouldn't of left the hotel lobby until I had...

1. Full Refund
2. A heartfelt apology
3. A free suite for my next visit

AdPatron 03-18-2008 10:35 AM

Get an attorney! Fast! And tell us which hotel so we dont stay there! Obviously their staff are complete morons!

Basic_man 03-18-2008 10:35 AM

Ask your lawyer! You can sue them, you're in the states! That sound like a everyday practice, suing everybody for anything!

Throw in covering any medical and/or legal expenses that resulted from hotel staff admitting an attacker into the room and I think you'd have a fair settlement.

No need to berate you anymore since you have obviously learned your lesson....When dealing with a violent woman, AVOIDANCE is the only real way to protect yourself...
