My very first day on a computer (a 486 Packard Bell to be exact) I took right to *creating* things with MS Paint..... I just happened to be good at it. From there, I read every single thing I could on computers, DOS systems, web architecture, what makes a good advertisement and what doesn't, even went to school for commercial production...... I learned alot. When school was wrapping up, I started taking on some mainstream website work, and actually made some ridiculous fees doing it. Was in and out of it for several years. Played with Flash, had IT pros commending me.... all that shit. Was left with a decision at the beginning of the @Home/AT&T collapse.... was working for AT&T when it happened, and was faced with finding another 9 to 5 or trying my luck with adult... I tried adult.

It didn't come easy or fast. It was fully one year before I made any money at all.

Honestly, I don't think I would call it a sense of superiority, but maybe a sense of accomplishment is better.

There's something there, I won't deny it, but I couldn't say exactly what it is. Do I feel superior to anyone else posting on GFY? No... I don't. For real. There's no reason for me to. I'm no more important than anyone else. Probably less so in most cases.
