My sales are better than ever. I hope there will be more tube sites because sales seem very steady atm.

So 20 tube threads a day about how they kill the industry. Please tell me how theyre killing your sites. How much did you lose exactly?

Did you lose anything at all? Or are you just crying about tube sites because its a cool thing to do?

How big is the chance exactly that someone who visits a tube site was about to buy a membership at your site or sponsor and didnt because of a tube site...how many times does that actually happen you think? About twice a year?

You know whats funny. Rapidshare distributes about 1000 times more free porn. Full movies in dvd quality. Its way bigger than all that tube shit together and nobody cries about it. Why? Because it isnt out in the open. We ignore it.
Nobody cried about sales when Rapidshare started getting big last year while if it affects sales its 1000 times worse than tubes. Nobody said anything about losing sales but now with the 100 tube threads every week i have to read every day how its killing the industry.

Look at some of the big program owners here crying every day how theyre gonna sue some tube site because there are three of their 20 min movies on that site. Well newsflash morons. I was able to download those movies and the rest of your shitty site last year already through Rapidshare in 15 mins.

Until recently the hun had enough photos and vids to make any guy happy Im sure and people still signed up for programs.

Tubes are now replacing old sites such as the hun as technology improves and yes they have huge clips but I still think the type of surfers they attract wouldnt in most cases join a site anyway.

Some people here who have worked with tubes have openly admitted that they have seen ratios of 0 in 60,000 from tube traffic.

The market is changing like every market does but I think anyone who is suffering a downturn blames it on tubes etc instead of maybe looking at thier own sites and what they can do to move with the times.

What im trying to say is please tell me exactly how many sales you lost because of tube sites because im not noticing any sales loss. By what i read that within 1 year the industry is dead because of tube sites i would say the loss in sales should be highly noticable by now..shouldnt it?

Here is how I think it will play out

There will be a company that people will go to to register their content and that company will have systems to patrol the tube sites and automatically dmca the content. This will become a cost of doing business. And was done at one point before, Steve Easton from apic

For tube sites with legitimate content, you cant do anything about that expect offer a better product, which will not be a problem for about 35% of the sites out there. However, with time and technology in the next few years, dl speeds will get faster and there will be more and more content on those sites as it accumulates. And there will become technologies to categorize and manage it and it will become a lot harder to compete. Its like open source porn

Drm may be a solution, but I think that as the quality of the video increases, within a few years, there will be sites with Lots of quality porn.

I have a friend at one of the processors and he mentioned that in the past few years, the subscription site model has been declining, while the cam site model has increased dramatically

Most random surfer forums have more and better content than the biggest tube sites out there. Full member areas (in combination with RS often) and besides a 10 post thread every now and then i dont hear anybody about it.

But mention the word tube and we get posts how its the end of the world.

Saying your sales are steady or rockin means nothing.. You could be selling cams.. or dating.. or some narrow niche for all we know... The one thing I've noticed for sure is that my brazzer sales (pure SE traffic that's stayed steady) have practically dissappeared as their exposure on the tube sites has grown.

That would basically be impossible for tube sites to cause that. Not basically but 100% sure be impossible.

That would mean that every fucking surfer out there with a cc would not only surf tube sites but also not sign up to Brazzers anymore because they saw a few videos for free. Imfuckingpossible so you, like all other people are blaming your loss in sales on tube sites while that simple isnt the reason.

There are 100's of millions of people who could potentially buy through your link...only a small % of those people ever saw a Brazzer vid for free on a tube site and only a very fucking small % of those people wont buy a membership becuase they found three 30 minute videos.
